Good to know. (Unsurprisingly) I was told to update with the wrong firmware when I asked about it at my local shop then. I am still waiting for it to be ordered, so I don't have it in hand and am unsure I will buy the one they order since they wouldn't guarantee they would get the colors I asked for.

Yeah, I bought mine on a lark... The mod I ordered got delayed in post, and I was getting impatient. Would have preferred the red one, but silver isn't bad.

Im very picky. I dont like bright and flashy colors. So if it isn't black (maybe gunmetal if it is a darker version of gunmetal) I will pass. It will also need to have the spare bottle or I will pass. So a quick question, does the spare bottle still come in a separate box from the mod?
Not attempting to persuade anyone from a particular product, but for squonkers I like to ensure replacement bottles can be had. The Pulse 80/X can accept aftermarket bottles. I use BB Vapes bottles in mine.
The ones I seen like that have DNA chips in them, and (correct me if I'm wrong) but those do not offer variable voltage (I went through escribe for a long time unsuccessfully trying to find a way to set up a VV profile).
Yep. It’s DNA 75. I just can’t think of any squonk with VV. I have a lot of them. All are either VW, unregulated or mechs.
Yeah. They are far and few between. For single battery squonks (which is all I have looked into since it's all I use) the only ones that do VV is the pulse 80w/x and topside.
I only really run mechs anymore, but I'm going to try to give the topside a shot. If I don't like it, I am sure I can find someone who would want it. I just like the vape I get from VV better than VW. And I don't use temp compatible wires so that's not an option for me either. Likely I will just stay with mechs though as they have the small size I like and I enjoy the vape I get from them.
I’ve got a topside. Nice mod. Just to big and heavy to carry around. I mainly use mechs. But lately I’ve been enjoying the Billet Box. But also VW
Alright guys found one that's smaller than the pulse and topside with a voltage mode..but it's not the cheapest thing haha. $135 on ultroner's website.

Nice! That one has slipped by me in my searches. It's a little oddly shaped for a single battery mod, but it is smaller than the competition. The bottle directly under the fire button would also take a little to get used to, but that's not a major issue at all. Nice find.
When you ask for small do you mean width and depth wise or hight in the hand?
As for narrow I'd say the single dovpo topside is nice and really not much bigger then just the battery and bottle. But it is tall
If by compact you want shorter that fits in the hand then oddly I'd say the wismec luxotic df box with 2 18650s it is on the wide side but it's very short and does actually feel quite small. Once I got used to mine which took a good week it now feels really natural and comfortable in the hand compared to a more box shaped mod. In the pic its next to my drag mini and is much smaller

The luxotic df doesn't offer variable voltage mode though. It has variable wattage and temp control only.

I didn't know that...i've got the chipped luxotic surface squonker on the way....oh well I bought it more for its form factor than for its USB port

The firmware word is quite important here as flash on its own means various unconnected things
And no I haven't tried it yet as my Surface is still winging its way from the east. It's listed in the arctic fox compatibility list so should be fine
