So the 2.5 heads from GV were better at drawing than the 2.0's? Did it feel better on the nova?
They are the ones that I use on the Mini Vivi. Yes, they seem to draw a little better. I think it is the difference in the wick.

I'm having some issues with the dry hits; seems a new head works great for a couple of days and then the wick doesn't seem to absorb enough liquid. Switch heads and it's fine again for a couple of days. It's happened to me with all 3 heads so far. Tomorrow I'll reinstall one of the previously used heads and see what happens. I use only very light liquid--almost no color at all so it's not the juice

This may have been answered already, but is anyone else having wicking issues with the thick single thread version of the wicks that came with many of the 2.8 ohm heads? I have major issues with dry hits on those heads, but no problems on the 1.8 and 2.4 ohm heads with the 4 slender wicks.
Not on the 2.8 heads... it's my favorite one. I can go all the way to dry tank before it dry hits. When it's low on juice, I do roll it to make sure it's getting in the juice. I'm also careful to wash it every two days too.
That is so strange. I have the exact opposite problem, regardless of PG/VG blend. Do your 2.8 heads have the single thick braided wick? Are they long wicks? Do you trim them?
I could not wait for GV to get more 2.5 in stock so I got one from another vendor. There is a much bigger difference on the 2.5 than 2.0. This one actually works. The 2.4 head + 7 watts on kick on my SB 18500 is great. The flavor was slightly muted at first but after leaving the tank filled over night, it was good. If I chain vape, I get a dry hit here or there but a nice primer puff fixes that. I actually now know why people are enjoying this.
What does your coil look like ? Is it all gunked up looking ?
Not at all; after just a couple of days it looks fine; I also notice that once the juice gets to a certain level---about 1/2 full, that's when I notice the dry hits; a few times upside down and everything is fine for a little while.
Do the heads on the replaceable stardust work on the Vivi Nova? What are the differences in the mini Nova and the Vision 2?

If you havent already, unravel the wick. Should fix the problem. If not its either the juice is too thick and adding a drop or two of distilled water will fix that, or the voltage is set to high.
The only things I can think of at the moment without knowing what pv you use and your settings.
I was having the same problem was i did is cut a couple of small v notch's into the silicone right where the wicks sits at and it has helped alot.Tried all of the above. Thanks for the input, though. I'm just going to stick with the 2.4s for now. Maybe trimming the wicks will help...
The heads are interchangeable. The depth of the metal is not the same and the rubber tips need to be changed to the type of unit your installing it in. Once your install the rubber tip for the Stardust on the vivi head, it will fit just fine. I am using vivi heads in the new stardusts.
