I have several 1300s in both Auto and Manual. I love both but if I need a really strong hit the Manual with a Clearo of Cowboy wins that contest and if you really really want a monster hit do it in passthrough mode with the 1.5 amp household charger, it will give you a TH like a non filtered Lucky Strike.

Are you talking passthru with a manual? I would like that in the morning I think. I like the robust hits first thing in the morning and the gentle vapor in the evening. I think I will try a manual and see. :p

hmmm, this conversation make me want to try a manual too. Only have automatics. Maybe I'll get one on my next order, too, to try. I want to try out everything. Still seeing what I like. That much of a difference? I didn't know if I'd like having to hold down a button.
Not really a big deal. Easy to get used to.

:2c: I prefer the manuals. Find the Auto's/78mm's good for CE's. Manuals seem to over power the CE's for me.

Just my opinions, your's will probably differ.

Edit : That should have read: Find the X2 Auto's/78mm's good for CE's. X2 Manuals seem to over power the CE's for

I'll get a 78 manual when I get my next order and see if I like it.

Same here. I originally started out with a couple of 900mah X2's manuals. Then picked up a 78mm auto. On most of my juices using a CE3, they tasted better and smoother on the 78mm auto.

When used on the X2 manual, I often had a burnt taste. Just ordered some Nano's to hold me over until the new T3's come in. Hope they work ok on the manuals.

Oh, and I recommend getting a manual as part of your set up. Very handy to have around when you want to burn some gunk off a coil.

Quick follow up note.

When using the X2 manual, I press the button as I am bringing it up to my mouth, so vapor is already being produced.

I release the button about a second or less before I finish my drag. I figure it helps to keep fluids flowing to the coil.

However, what I really wanted to point out, at least with the X2 batteries, they won't roll off of counters and tables because of the button. I often put my 78mm auto between my 2 X2 manuals for this reason. Hehe, a little thing, but nice nonetheless.

HV!

I am very impressed - I think with a strong enough flavor, I might be able to keep this guy around. :)

I think I like the carto better than the nano though (nano might just have to break in).

Thanks for everyone's help. This is by far way more satisfying than I thought a cig-style could be. Quick question - I've never used an automatic before. Do you peeps draw straight into your lungs, or into your mouth and then inhale?

I draw into my mouth then inhale, just like an analog. Glad I didn't give you bad advice! Their cartos are awesome!

I find if I inhale directly into the lungs, I get a nice TH. I remember reading a while back that it might put a strain on the lungs doing this too much. Anyone lung inhale with autos?

Also, I just gave a laundry list of eGo Twists / accessories to my friend who is ready to quit. I think I'm going to recommend this instead since he is smokes lights (I used to smoke Kools and harsh menthols). He did have a bad experience with a cig-style though, which put him off e-cigs. It was probably a cheapo mall type since it was a gift from non-vapers.
