Okay so i know the basics, but what are ya'lls opinion on VG vs PG.

Do you prefer one or the other (I'm sure you do) Or what is everyone's favorite ratio.

Right now I have a few different but I think i like the PG or a heavy PG ratio. What are the main differences you all notice? The VG for me is a little scratchy on the throat and not in a good way, not like a nice TH more like a little lasting itch, but maybe its just me!

While I know that PG is a GRAS food additive, and not harmful, I prefer the 70VG/30 distilled water blends, or as high of VG as possible. I do vape the samples and find that the higher the PG, the better it wicks due to a lower viscosity. However, in the sake of perceived health reasons, and I do mean perceived, I prefer VG.

VG is also sweeter as a base, and provides more vapor, apparently, however, I haven't really done much experimenting.

what is the shelf life of 50/50 mix?

Anything from 1-2 years (some say) Kept in a cool dark place, I'd have no problem vaping juice that is even older than that.

As for your other question
Is it true that VG is for sweet juice and PG is not??

No. The 100% VG juice I use is actually a tobacco flavor. VG does have a certain underlying sweetness, but it doesn't always follow. Are you thinking of DIY juice or something?

I am trying out a very good 70/30 PG/VG blend. I read somewhere that the VG is for people want 100% "organic" but i read on wiki that PG is an organic compound as well. Shows how little people research things sometimes, right?

Well it contains vegetables so it must be good for you...

I find high PG to harsh so I mix my juice 80-70% VG. Everything Vape is about personal preferences. It's one of the great things about vape but also a PIA till you get everything dialed in to where one likes it. Then as the journey into vape continues and your gear improves and sense of taste and smell improve, one continues to fine tune their preference.

Also some are intolerant or allergic to PG and some to VG. I find high VG makes for a smoother vape, but everyone is different. So find what you like best.

I prefer the highest VG available ( supposedly you cant get 100% since some of the flavors are PG based) reasons... higher viscosity reduces leak potential, I like the sweeter taste, I find the TH less harsh than PG but then again Im running 30-36 nic, and I like the milder flavors... Im looking for hints of flavor not overpowering very distinct flavors. But thats my opinion

In my experience of several months, yes vg provides a sweet base, and makes more fog; one has to be carefull though not to have too much vg; too much vg and you get more instances of burnt something; and it can feel heavy on the lungs.
