they are informed and in a meeting, they did random tests and i saw this personaly and im sure other vendors did as well, they are trying to find ones that get this taste some are mentioning and then try to pinpoint whats going on, hold on to your heads, remember the product so far has had no issues elsewhere, so going by what the posters are telling us, some heads might be having a issue with taste being muted or off taste that doesnt taste right.

no leaking, no gurgling, airflow is good etc... so at least we know what we are dealing with and where to locate whats going on, try your other heads, once they confirm anything and figure this out, the customers of gotvapes will not need to worry, we will work something out.

Dan has tested his sets, he didnt have issues, I tested my randoms and didnt have issues, i did feel one was off taste wise but was able to cure it, and another head could have given more flavor.

The ones who are enjoying theres, im glad to hear and for others who are not getting the flavor they want try your heads and we will report back once we find out something on that front.

Bad I know how you love taking pics. So I was wondering if you can throw up a little Nova porn for us. A few shots of it on a TOX and a Provari.

Here's mine!

I'm on my second head, the 2.8.

IMG_0037.jpg

What i noticed on the primer burn on both the 2.4 and the 2.8 is the coil isnt getting red unless you really crank it up on the volts. I see red from the wire but its below the coil, like the wire coming up from the base is glowing but the wire around the 3 wicks isnt.

lemme try to get a pic

I got mine also yesterday and it is Working Flawlessly. No Leaking, Flooding or Dry Hits. I'm not getting quit as much Flavor as a CE2 but I haven't run that much e-Liquid thru it yet.

Couldn't be Happier with the Filling and the Screw on "Head Unit".

I think you have an Out-of-the-Box Winner on your hands Bad.

Note: One thing I did Notice on the Tank was that the Center Battery Connection was sticking out quit a bit. This made the Tank not want to Screw Down all the way to my PV.

I tried push the Center Connector in but it Didn't budge. So I gave it a few passes with an Fingernail Emory Board to make it Allmost Flush with the Outside Connector.

Worked Perfectly and now it Screws Down all the Way.

i tried my 1.8 ohm head and its the same scenario as mrwarspite's. the coil itself is not getting red at all no matter how many burns i do. somewhere below the coil/wick material, its getting red........the coil is not glowing red where its wrapped around the wicking.

this is not an out-of-the-box winner to me at all until the flavor is present.

i've seen other stuff do that when the coil wasnt wrapped just right. the little exposed length of wire right there on the end isnt touching the wick and dries out and then gets hotter. if you light it up any more than that you'll likely burn it out as that little spot will melt through. you might be able to poke around in there and rearrange things so it stops doing that

um heh some chinese guy came to work hung over and miss wrapped a few dozen heads and thats what we are hearing about now. how many hundreds are out there working just fine that we will never hear about lol
on a side note it might be nice if the extra heads came in the little zip loc baggies so you have somewhere to put it when you take it back off

I agree that the center post is way too long for a provari, it makes it wobbly.

Going to file it down when I get home from work. I still get more flavor out of my stardust.

IMHO.

I've been using my Vivi for about another hour and the Flavor is getting Better with every hit.

I did the same just before reading this!

Ive read lots of reviews both good and bad about here on ecf and how folks have solved this and that with them and some like me nothing worked, and for others they worked from the get go.

I get a very muted taste or when not muted a downright nasty taste.

I cut the wicks, preburn the wicks, preburn the coil, and seasoned the coil which is getting a cake on it similar in fashion to some scubagen coils.
I even took it completely apart pulled the 510 connector out of the whole unit which by the way sticks out to far to begin with and its machined that way after it was completely apart i noticed, looked at the air holes on the cap and the airhole on the tube that only can be seen once the 510 connector is out of assembly , on purpose pulled out the coil to break it and see what makes it tick after all it comes with 3 complete coils and with 2 units i have 6 coils. Three which i have used to test.

Tried 100%pg, 90pg/10vg , 80pg/20vg and 70pg/30vg vendors e-liquid and my home made e-liquid. I even broke in one coil with some of my most caramel coil clogging e-liquid i have - direct dripping onto it firing the coil in a relentless fashion while watching TV and vaping something else while getting funny looks from the Misses.

I tried it on my ego , megalodon and my vv box mod changing the voltage and testing all the 3 different ohm heads and get same results.
I also noticed that the silicone cap itself that covers the coil on all 6 of my coil heads emitts a rather nasty type of smell.

Spent all day yesterday and good part of the morning trying to get it to vape right which i simply could not im sorry to say.
Just disappointed at this point and cannot use this tank anymore .
