Great video, Phorbin! Nice introduction and I look forward to seeing your next (review) one. I've got a black XL as well as the little VMOD.

As much as I like the little guy, I LOVE the 'adult' version! I like that I can chage it up with different batts for different voltage, and that I can use all sorts of different attys.

Thank you!

yeah well that grey one is pretty sweet too though.

I like the black Vmod XL!

I'm totally jealous! :)

Nice job phorbin.

Thank you very much. The multiple batt options is nice, but even better would be a true VV version. I would LOVE to see one of those!

some are talking about a "kick" inside the XL... ?
as far as i know the kick seems to be something that if put in a pv would not necessarily be adjustable from the outside... hmm.
I'm liking mine quite a lot.
Curious to see a follow up. As of now this makes only two vid reviews; both initial impressions.

to the extent that new years eve partying doesn't mess up my plans I intend to post a longer, more thorough review this weekend. But again, that will largely depend on how bad I feel sunday morning. LOL

I had a bottom feeder before and kinda liked it but never used it. Yesterday I was checking out the lavatube and just about ready to pick one up when I seen your review. I decided to give bottom feeders a second chance and ended up buying the vmod xl.
For the last 6 months or so I have been using my own vv mod and hardly ever do 3.7v. I was worried about not being able to vary the voltage but my mod is a honking big box that's not easy to carry.

I was in your same shoes. I ordered the VMXL and I only touched my VV mods when the 2.2ohm Silo Carto and Hybrid Atty didn't provide the heat I wanted. I received my AW IMR 18650s and 1.5ohm i06s from Ikenvape yesterday, and now I think my VV mods are gonna be lonely and/or going in the classifieds. This thing is so comfortable and with the right battery/atty/juice combo is a show-stopper. My bank card may have somme relief for the work-out vaping has put it through. *Until the next new best thing comes along lol!

if you're down with VV and like rocking a warmer vape then you should for sure check out the 1.8ohm "Silo Cartomizer"or the 1.5ohm Bottom Feeder atty. They rock a pretty solid vape. Also, the VMOD XL seems to have a lower internal resistance than the original VMOD and the vape seems inherently warmer anyway because of this. Its not VV, but its a pretty potent vape as 3.7s go. Let us know what you think once you get to take it for a spin.

once again my apologies for the delay in getting the follow-up video out. On the upside the rough work week has ended and I finally shot the video. There isn't really anything new or groundbreaking in the review though. Spending the last week and a half or so with it only confirmed what I already suspected, its a very good mod that I will be using a LOT.
