Please factor a charger into the $150 limit.

Ready to take the next step from my Go-Go, though I love it, for Variable options and versitility. I am aware that adapters are now available, but still.

I've had my eye on the innokin iTaste-would that be a considered an upgrade from my current set-up?

However, I am open to any suggestions. I think this could be a great thread if everybody at least posts links to the vendors that sell, and also any info, specs or whatever regarding your posted device.

for a few dollars more ,get yourself a provari [mini or regular],,,you will be very content

I should have mentioned: $150 should include charger. I'll edit the starting post.

But the word content seems so commonly paired with the Provari....tempting. I've done my research on it, but there is a part of me that wants to find an alternative to the ever popular Provari. A curse of my nature.

There are some great VV box mods out there that would fit the bill. Maximum Vapers and Mad Vapes come to mind.

Or buy a good old Lava Tube of some sort. You can get into that way cheap, and it will let you play without breaking the bank. Apollo had a coupon out that would get you a tube, battery, charger, and stuff for around $60. I think the code was vtube30. Or you could get it in SS for around $80.

A provari is nice, but you would be looking at around $200 to just get started. And you may find out that you really don't need VV, I have been happy the last few weeks with my Bolt and (now) with my Reo running at 3.7-ish with LR cartos/attys and at 4.8 with my NiMH batteries on more SR stuff.

Just my input, good luck!

The other two notcigs devices are in the ballpark too. The infinity Pro w/ batts and charger falls well below your $150 limit. And, if you've ever ordered anything from notcigs before, you can not only use the coupon code for 7.5% off, but then they apply an existing customer discount of 5% off as well. So, without being an existing customer, the VVPV is $156 and some change after the 7.5% code, and around $149 with the discount code plus the existing customer discount. The VVPV comes with batts installed and a charger for the unit... and the charger is also pass through, btw.

Hmm...that's looking like a real possibility for me (Buzz or Infinity).

The PBusardo review certainly pushes me further in that direction as well.

Also, thanks to his review of the Innokin iTaste, I know that device is not for me. It is clear in his review that the iTaste is in the same realm as the eGo experience, and I'm not looking to buy another "intermediate" PV. Gettin serious!

Though that iTaste does look to be a sweet piece of tech. Would have gotten that instead of Go-Go easily if I knew about it sooner..

Notcigs. They originated production VV PVs. The Infinity Pro, with two sets of batteries and charger, will come in at $120 delivered (use coupon code ECF Buzzkill, 2 words, during checkout step 4). Right now they're also doing a special on the Buzz Pro, free charger and pair of batteries (select it during configuration, it'll be free); add a second pair of batteries, use the same coupon code, and the BP, 2 sets of batteries, charger, will be about $130.

The above are two really, really, solid VV tubes. Good battery life, good ruggedness (the latest BP tale was a BP 2 that got run over by a 6' lawnmower -- tank on it got beat up a bit, but the main PV did fine :) )

Alternately, low cost, lets you try both bottom feeder and VV, is an Oldgoat VV. I've got one on order, $50. It has a 3ml feed bottle, uses two 14500 batteries. Add two pairs of batteries and a charger, you'll be in at about $80.

Good luck, there are a lot of choices. I really like my notcigs gear, and couldn't resist trying an Oldgoat -- he's just a really well known, small volume, low cost, supplier. The OG batteries and charger I already have, since I use them in another PV too.
