I wondered why he was asking, can he get a patent, for a VV seeing as there are many already on the market?

I really don't know, but I do know I would never buy from there now. Don't like that sort of business. Hard enough for the different vendors trying to eke out a living without dealing with this.

Looking through the patent application, this would cover just about every advanced VV mod out there with buck boost power regulator. Does that mean we're back to stacking batteries to get higher voltages or used regulated mods without VV function? What will this do to Imeo's VV module for the GG? Although I'm happy using LR with 3.7V or HV with 6V on my GGTS, I really want the option to use VV, when it becomes available.

This is ridiculous. It's like someone trying to patent air. You can't breath unless you pay these guys at notcigs a royalty. I'd avoid buying from them if I'm a current customer.

Surely if the Buck -boost has been designed and made by a different company, in this case Texas instruments then he can't patent it as his own especially if it has been used for a similar purpose before.
Was Notcigs the first company to release a VV mod? or did they develop them before anyone else.
If not then it just takes Provape,Nhaler or the like to challenge it.
I have read some of it but not all but it looks like hes going for any mod that also uses an LED light to let you know its activated and any round mod.
Also the Buzz and Infinity use a very different user control than the Provari or Darwin as they have built in displays and adjusters so i would think that these would not be applicable and again he would have to prove it was his technology.
I maybe wrong but i don't think he can get this granted.

He cannot stop the people who have already designed and produced a VV device as they are protected under the Prior Art clause of the USPTO regulations.

I was thinking of something like this when i listed Provape and Nhaler as being able to challenge it as they already have devices on the market.
Still it looks like he want to cover most if not all pv's from the wording of his app.
And from the thread on here it sounds like its not for the vaping community that hes going down this route

I read that thread and was looking around my house for stuff to patent. It was right infront of me the whole time, I'm going to patent the design and act of getting sunburnt. Anyone who is out in the sun for too long and doesn't use sunblock lotion will have to pay me royalties. Perfect! I'm rich!

edit: i'm bored sorry lol
