Thinking about getting a mechanical vv mod and was curious what kind of device I can get for around 50-60? I like to vape at 4.5v or higher and was wanting some advice on best devices and deals :) I have seen some where you press down top of device like the alpha frome altsmoke and was wondering what everyones opinions are on these type thanks. The alpha is nice but is only 3.7v. Please help looking to order something around friday or see what I can find in the classifieds . I like the joker device but out of my price range unless someone has one they are willing to let go for cheap ;)

Telescope or Bolt would be right in there. For a bit more a Silver Bullet.

But with mechanical mods you are pretty much restricted to adjusting the Ωs of the coil OR buy a Kick for variable wattage function. There isn't much ability to change voltage, stacking 350's is the only way I know of and I'm personally not to keen on the idea.

Just posting this link for info, may not be the best price and whatnot.

mechanical vv mod - yea its usually one or the other or use a kick

How about a good 5v mechanical mod then instead ? Or a good metal tube mode.I like the look of the Joker mod.Anthing similar to that as far as the look and function?Only thing I could find was the evo from vaporciggz I believe .

My favorite mod for the last few months has been the Silver Bullet with the Kick and an extension sleeve. You have the durability and simple operation of a really well-made mod combined with the flexibility of variable wattage from the Kick. I highly recommend this setup.

You mention that you prefer 4.5 to 5 volts, but that's only part of the equation. What resistance is your usual equipment?

How do they achieve a 5 volt mechanical? Is it a special battery or do you have to stack? Because when I stack two IMR 18350 it says over 7 volts is that right?

I use lr boge cartos on my twist and spinner but need them at 4.6 or around there to get the size hits that I like,I know most people dont recommend this but when its lower than say 4.5 4.6 I dont get the kind of vape I like.I like to get a large amount of of vapor in my mouth and then inhale vs direct inhale to my lungs.Thats the way I always smoked and vape.So if I have something that is much higher voltage that I could use SR boges on to get same amount of vapor that would be good :)

I dont know if they make something like that was just saying thats the type of voltage I would like or higher if SR boges would give me same amount of vapor with out having to take really long hits.I dont like have a tight draw.I like alot of vapor with a nice draw that doesnt take me hitting it for huge amount of time. When I use say a ego with a LR carto I have to hit it long and hard to get a decent vape vs my spinner with a LR at 4.6.

Mechanical mods are just that - completely mehanical - no chip setting the voltage. You get the voltage from the battery, and by using different resistances you are varying the power.
So you would need to try different ohms with your attachments.
Also - with a mechanical mod the voltage output isn't regulated, so the voltage will drop as the battery charge drops.

Look up a VAMO, it will do what you need, is relatively inexpensive and robust for that style of APV.
For something simple and less expensive, madvapes still sells their 5v box mod that uses a pair of 14500 batteries.
Thanak you :) I like the vamo but have a feeling I will only use in shorter mode so looking for something more that size
