Never tried squonking. The part which confuses me about squonking is once the juice in the bottle has got to the point where a tight squeeze won't release anymore juice, probably a third of the bottle used, then it kind of makes the whole point of squonking moot.

Do you know what i mean ?.

You use your squonker until you can't squeeze anymore juice out......... so you have to refill the bottle !!?. And the juice you used up until then is probably less than the average tank full.

So am i missing something ?, i dunno !. As i said, i've never used one. Call me stupid.

My bottles hold from 7-10 mls, and most don’t have to be filled until they are about3/4 empty.

For me, the benefit is all the flavor of dripping without the inconvenience of dripping. I like a rda on a mech, too, but that’s not something I take out with me, certainly would try to drive and vape like that. And that’s not to say I don’t like tanks, because I have plenty of love and use for them as well.

Squonking is a Lot like Rock n' Roll.

If you have a Great Bass Player (Squonk Mod) but a crummy drummer (BF RDA), it just Doesn't sound very good. Likewise, if the you have a Kick Azz Drummer but the base man is Ho-Hum, it just doesn't cut it.

But when your Bass Man is in pocket with the Drummer, and you couple that with a Solid Keyboard Player (a Killer e-Liquid), you can achieve that Double Platinum trifecta rhythm section.

The Dripbox 2 mod was OK. But the RDA that came with it was Poor at Best. At that point, No Amount of Quality Keyboards is going to get you to the Top of the Charts.

Great analogy! But ... you left out the lead guitar player! A band without a lead guitar is missing the spice that makes the mix palatable.

At first was put off by squonk mods because all the ones I knew about were mechanical and cost a premium. Today I'm using an original Pico squeeze and the Vandy Vape with TC and plastic body. I like them both but have to be more careful to avoid leaking with the Squeeze. The Vandy Vape mod is not ideal for pocket carry but hasn't caused me any leaking problems. I've also found a couple of MTL atomizers that work for me and I'd appreciate any suggestions for other BF atomizers I might like., especially if they are available from FT. But in the mean time the squonkers haven't taken over. Still like my SV rda clone on an original pico or pico x and have even found uses for a couple of MTL tanks.

No Doubt. Hard to have a Hit without someone Up Front on guitar.

BTW - I'll PM you the link to that Steely Dan/Aja documentary. As a Player, you'll get a kick out how Fagen and Becker put that album together in the Studio.

Not sure where this idea came from? But you can pretty much Squonk a properly set-up Squonk Bottle dry.

Squonking frees you Hands from having to use a Dripping Bottle. I tried RDA's very early when I switch. Loved the taste they gave me. But Hated having to have to constantly Drip.

For me, and How I vape, Squonking couldn't be better. Because I use about 3.5ml per day. And 3.5ml happens to be about when a Battery gets to 1/2 Charge.

So every day around Noon, my Squonk Bottle is about Half Full. And my Battery is at about 1/2 Charge. So I Fill the 7ml Bottle and put in a New Battery and I'm Good-to-Go until tomorrow at Noon.

Most of my mods are squonks. I used tube mechs and drippers for years before that. They are perfect for me because they are convenient and nearly indestructable. I build a lot more conservatively now and change the battery once a day when I refill the bottle. Very nice collection BTW.

Mr. @Eskie
I have an S2 inbound.
How long have you had your S2?
Do you have any tips or tricks or caveats for a new owner?
Thanks in a advance.

Cheers

The Squeeze 2? My only advice is when you get it, take manual and hunt through the teeny tiny print until you get to the how to turn the light show off. After that you’re golden. Simple to use and the bottle system works well. My only complaint is the screen is pretty dark so it can be hard to make out at times. Also entering the menu is sort of a pain. If you don’t hit the up toggle just right you can’t, but once you hit it you’re good to go.

There is also supposedly AF firmware for it if you want to tweak TC on it.

I change out my flavors too much throughout the day and I love dripping but I have several squonkers that I just haven’t used much.

Have you tried using Unflavored in the Squonk Bottle and then priming the Wick with Flavored e-Liquid?

Thanks... I just got done watching a Steely Dan - Aja documentary. And have B Flat 7th's going into Diminished 9's running thru my head. And I'm still Not sure exactly what a B Flat 7th's going into a Diminished 9 sounds like?

Anyway, I think just about Any BF RDA would taste better than the one that came with the Dripbox 2.

I'm into Plain Old Single Wire Single Coil RDA's myself. So I'm not sure who makes a good Mesh RDA?
Wotofo Profile is an excellent mesh RDA in my limited opinion. Pretty new to squonking myself.
