There's a ton of things that bother me about the way people upsell or ignorantly sell a product that they know little about. First it's a safety issue. If not properly educated and researched about building coils, battery safety, testing your new builds, you might as well be sending someone out with a potential pipe bomb. The second issue I have is that if you set someone up with something that is way to advanced for them from the start, the most popular outcome is that they drop vaping and never go back. I've heard of people getting a mech as a first time unit with a coil the shop built. These people then send them off with 50/50 high nic juice and they get sick. Vaping is suppose to be a pleasant experience, however if vaping had been harsh and tasted terrible I wouldn't want to try it again. I know a few people that had a bad experience somewhere down the road within their first two months of vaping that made them pick up stinkers again and never look back. Shops need to realize they have a duty to do in order to help save/improve peoples lives. This isn't a business that should be used to sucker people into making a bad choice. Focus on selling someone a 40-80 dollar setup that works for them and ou gain a customer forever. With what they spend on upgrades, juices, supplies is where your money will be made. But setting someone up with a 200 dollar setup that they use for a month, hate it and move back to stinkers makes you no money.
Shops need to se logic. Is the 200$ now better then the 1000-????? They will make over the year per loyal customer?
