I have had my 901 for about 24 hours now. Medium Carts, topped with 0 nic liquid. I was very paranoid about nicotine OD since I was coming from ultralights. A generous pack a day, but still ultralights.

I am experiencing the lethargy, foggy confused, must concentrate hard on simple tasks. Spacey, indecisive, dry mouth, mild headache and I want Cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA. In short, I feel sort of stoned. I haven't felt this in long time. Is there any logical explanation for this? I don't think its too much nic, it's the opposite of heart-pounding hyper. Can't be nic withdrawal, I think I'm in the ballpark there, maybe anothre chemical. I've had a couple analogs to see how they hit me. I've been putting the plastic tar filters on those, but they make me downright lightheaded, haven't smoked more than half of any of them.

I find I only vape a couple drags every hour or so (so far anyway), that does me. I didn't realize how much I over-smoked to beat the clock before the analog burnt out.

Also does anyone know if there is any consistency or regularity to the labels on analogs: Light, UltraLight, etc? I mean I can tell that a friend's Reds are way strong, but what exactly is lighter about a light? Maybe there is more nic in a Winston UltraLight than I thought, or maybe more of some other chemical to make up for it?

Thanks for any ideas!

tobacco companies designed "light" cigarettes with tiny pinholes on the filters. These “filter vents” dilute cigarette smoke with air when light cigarettes are “puffed” on by smoking machines, causing the machines to measure artificially low tar and nicotine levels. Many smokers do not know that their cigarette filters have vent holes. The filter vents are uncovered when cigarettes are smoked on smoking machines. However, filter vents are placed just millimeters from where smokers put their lips or fingers when smoking. As a result, many smokers block the vents—which actually turns the light cigarette into a regular cigarette. Some cigarette makers increased the length of the paper wrap covering the outside of the cigarette filter, which decreases the number of puffs that occur during the machine test. Although tobacco under the wrap is still available to the smoker, this tobacco is not burned during the machine test. The result is that the machine measures less tar and nicotine levels than is available to the smoker. Because smokers, unlike machines, crave nicotine, they may inhale more deeply; take larger, more rapid, or more frequent puffs; or smoke a few extra cigarettes each day to get enough nicotine to satisfy their craving. This is called “compensating,” and it means that smokers end up inhaling more tar, nicotine, and other harmful chemicals than the machine-based numbers suggest.

I smoked "Lights" for years and always bought the 100s because I didn't get enough from the shorts... and now I know why.

(Sorry if this suggestion has already been posted, saw your question but I'm on my way out the door to work, so in a bit of a hurry)

The amount of nicotine you're taking in could be less than what you got when you smoked analogs. Since nicotine is a stimulant, and your body has become accustomed to it, not smoking as much could be causing a lethargic feeling (yes, even to the point of falling asleep at odd times- ask any regular caffeine addict whether not having their daily dose will affect their mood, give them headaches, and cause them to fall asleep!)

My only suggestion is to go up to a higher strength, or hang on (if it is, in fact, the nicotine levels in your system, your body will eventually adjust). Try increasing your caffeine intake (not to a dangerous point, of course, but an extra cup of coffee or two won't hurt), and if this continues more than a week or two (depending on the severity of it), see your doctor.
