I would like to welcome all the newbie into our family. Please do take a moment to read our local sub forum rules and regulations.

To summarise, please don't try your luck and ask any of us for sources. We do not know of any source and neither do we provide such sources as this will break our local law.

I hope you guys read through the threads and aquire knowledge on the intricate world of vaping.

Cheers

Hi guys, I have a question regarding the 2 following starter kits.
eVIC-VT vs KangerTech SUBOX 50W.
If someone were to start VAPING, which would be a more user friendly/reliable kit to start with?

Note: I am asking purely for research purposes and just out of curiosity.

Vtc mini? Or the older evic vt

Older eVIC VT.
Or if you feel the evic mini is very good, then i would like to factor that into the research as well.

Cancel your thoughts about evic vt. The vtc mini is much better. And I dare to say, it's one of the more future proofed mod and easiest to use for newbie.

ok thanks for your input Karstine, much appreciated.
I'll drop the evic vt for now and focus on comparison between eVIC VTC Mini VS KangerTech SUBOX 50W

To poison you more on evic vtc mini, these are the following advantage over kbox mini from kangertech

Vtc mini advantage
1. Quite stable temperature control mode
2. Able to utilise nickel and titanium wire (can't remember if can use stainless steel)
3. Can power up to 75 watt max in their latest software update
4. More colour variation then kbox mini
5. Don't have hipster status yet. Too many people with kbox mini.
6. And don't forget, evic vtc mini has software upgrades.
7. Not much more expensive than kbox mini.

Kbox mini in my opinion is very basic but it work well for it purpose.

From my perspective, i am prioritizing functionality (performance, longevity, reliability) over aesthetics (color, shape or if its a popular choice because of cool factor)

I really appreciate you taking the time for the above pointers. Seems like VTC has quite an advantage over the kbox mini from your p.o.v

lol i know. very much leaning towards the VTC Mini.
my knowledge up 1 level thanks to Karstine view sharing.
I will go read up more about related topics on other threads.
thanks guys for the input.

I think the most important reason to lean toward evic vtc mini is because the 510 is spring loaded. Which mean that evic is compatible with a wider variety of rta and Rda. The 510 connection of kbox mini is fixed and by right should only work with subtank mini but some rta/Rda with longer 510 screw will work.

Longevity wise, evic vtc mini takes the cup here again. The build is so much better. And as said before, the software is upgradable.

This forum frown on saying the exact price of the gear. All I can say is, for a few bucks more, evic vtc mini with give you much better bang for buck
