Hi everyone,

I found this forum about a week ago, and have been reading through whatever I could for more information on vaping. Just introducing myself, now that I can post outside the threads for new members.

Having been smoking (mostly 1-2 packs a day) for a couple of decades at least, I've tried minis (analog lookalikes) in a neighbouring country and even brought some back, years ago, when I found them to be really useful for cutting down. Of course they didn't last long, the batteries couldn't be recharged within a couple of weeks. And I went back to analogs.

A few months ago, I've started reading up about vaping and realized this was an excellent way for me to cut off my need for analogs. Even tho', I seem to smoke rather heavily, I realized this only happens when I'm not busy working or at home. There are times when I hardly touched a stick for the entire day, and I never really feel a need to. I've tried patches, gum and even went cold turkey for nearly a year. But I still end up with analogs in the end.

I realized the one thing I was addicted to was probably holding on to something and puffing out billowing smoke. Is that even possible? I guess it is, for me anyway. So I've a feeling I would be able to live with low nic liquids or even move on to 0% fast.

For the past month, I've been trying to get a hold of PVs but considering the location I am residing, and not having time to travel due to project commitments for at least a year or so, I've not been successful after several attempts and watched my funds disappear with nothing to show for it. But I guess, there's no harm in continuing to read up more in ECF while I keep trying when I can afford it. Budget has been tight lately as well, especially after several failed attempts.

I'm still looking forward to the day when I finally get my hands on a PV, and reduce or stay off analogs for good.

Personally, I've been looking at investing on the Vamo V3 and Ego-WP, for home and discretionary outdoor use. I'm still trying to study what tanks (not sure if that's the right description) would be suitable for these as well, since I read about how plastic ones will probably spoil much faster.

I've been reading thru many posts here in SG Vapers, and I'm not asking for lobangs (even if it will be welcomed. Haha!) since I realize this is something we are all facing in our hope to be free of tobacco. Nevertheless, I'm going to keep wriggling into wherever I think might help me start vaping. :p
