Hi lads and lassies,

new member here and absolute noob to vaping.

Other than the fact that current condition entails one to vape like a recruit in his tekong bunk/toilet (minus another "see water" botak)...

I must say the whole experience has been absolutely fantastic. Seems to be helping me cut down from a pack a day to maybe 3 to 5 sticks.

I'm quite positive that I will finally stop paying cigarette tax in weeks to come (crossing my fingers).

Better to get an rba or rda right off the bat. Will minimize costs later. But if you're just trying, ego is good.

Careful with plastic cars some fuel will break them. As for juice it's basically your choice. Haven't crossed the bridge for some time so i don't know what good juices are available there.

I think the problem is with the juice I'm using. Thick and sweet, may be funking up the coils.

Thinking about getting an rba. But t will they fit an ego?

Most egos I've seen have 510 threading. Practically all RBAs have 510 connection so that would work

I'm vaping nicely at 8.5watts on my cool fire 1. I'm also thinking of using an RBA but on the cf1. Anything that I'll miss out?

You'll miss out on mech mod simplicity and incredible inconsistency.

Haha! Well I've been looking through mech mod setup and all. At constant wattage, what kind of inconsistency will I experience?

I'm still into a straightforward vaping, not into vv or vw. Just looking in long term if my 3 iclear 30b and 10 coils backup are to fail in the future snd cf1 still working

I've been thru Ego, Mechs and VV ... and now back to VV again (Provaris) ... I still think Provari is the simplest way to go unless you really enjoy sub-ohms (tried and no point to me). I have 3 x KFs and 2 x drippers, as long as I build the coils above 1.2, Provari supports it. No lack of thick vapor or throat hit, flavours are no issue too.

Don't wanna comment much on mechs since I only tried 3 types of mechs and they don't work well for me.

A mech is fully variable, not in the sense that you can control the variation! The voltage will drop according to your usage due to battery drain, and so does wattage. The only major benefit is the lack of circuits to screw up and throw you off for the day. Other than that, I concur that VV/VW gives much more flexibility and consistency. I should be getting a hana modz V3 in due time, just for the kick of it.

I'm definitely snatching up a V3 once it's available at my supplier.

Yes its pretty ex but I'm eyeing it too.

Perhaps you could try the innokin mvp. Its pretty decent. I kinda prefer it as compared to my mech mod.

Less hassle and more consistent vape. clearomisers are not expensive(use & throw away when dirty)

Hey guys, just got 2 ego twists with mini protank IIs for my sis and I from beyond the bridge. She loves it and I hope she can quit analogs soon! But I feel vaping as a hobby is more addictive than nicotine, and now I'm already itching for better gear.

Since I'm still quite new, I'm gonna start slow and try to rebuild my mini protank II tonight. With the advice and help from the awesome people here, I hope I can get into more advanced stuff soon

building own can be interesting and frustrating. lots of juices and wires will be wasted until u get the settings that you like.

but then when u get to a gd setup, u will be more than satisfied.

Especially with RDA and RBA. only one comment..... SHOIK....
