Potential newbies here as my first setup is still underway to me.
I've been smoking for more than 15 years. Tried to switch over to pipe
but price of baccy locally went rocket high, and bring in from
overseas supply have the same issue with what you chaps are facing
now. I smoke cigar occasionally as well, but running out of place that
allow that :-(

Pipe are costly due to their workmanship. Habanos sells decent cigar and tobacco up to some premium grade unless you are fond of even better grade tobacco and pipes. However, you will soon discover that the same goes to vaping. There are premium juices and modz and yes, you will still face the same old obstacle.
That's aside, welcome. Do read to do and don't at the newbie guidelines.
When I started pipe, 50gm of davidoff cost around 23 locally, now its almost 3x the price.
As the price went up, our big bro eyes get sharper. While its legal to import from overseas, the taxes are just crazy.
So all my "high end" wood left with little to fill them ...>_<... I keep my finger cross that the vaping scenario will not end up the same.

Something which I wanted to start off but the price...... pipes are dirt cheap abroad. Unlike pipe and pipe tobacco, which u can import legally aren't for vaping items. You will be surprised that there is someone aboard making pretty neat pipe for vaping. Nice custom made pipe for pipe lovers.

Hey guys new to Sg-Vapers. Started vaping when i was in Perth. Decided to move back after 5 years to help with a family business. I managed to stop smoking cigarettes for over 8 months when i first found out about e-cigs. After i moved back, i started smoking again because of the ban here. [*edited}

hello new to the forum, smoker for 30yrs, vaping for 6months, now off ciggs completely, but juice is running out , unless i find a new source(the search was what led me to find this forum, will be back to the ciggies in a month or so. :-(

I am in the same boat!
I also have a bad bunch of coil heads that are popping in no time at all.... Some major re-wiring is needed! If only I knew where to find the wire to do the re-wiring!!! Less worried about silica, am thinking to go cotton anyways as I hear it works better if you get it right.
Hi everyone just gotten over my broken PV a friend gave and got a new couple a Joyetech eVic and a mechanical zarras still not sure which is better out of the two hoping to get some info from veterans who have been smoking awhile, Ive only been using them a month or so
