Hi, I'm Kelly. Started vaping August 19th, 2010 and haven't looked back yet. I have a collection of critters: 6 dogs, 5 cats, 1 hedgehog, 1 daughter, and a hubby. I'm also a Buzzaholic. I started smoking at the age of 12. The last 15 years has been 3-4 pads. I regret every minute of it. I thank my daughter for having talked me into at least trying an ecig. She also bought me my first Buzz.

Wow that is very cool Kelly ! tell your daughter THANKS !

She said, "You're welcome." She's glad that I finally found something that I love.

A hedgehog ? Cool, I don't think they let city boys have them ~ Do they????

And why couldn't a city boy have one?. Tippy's pretty cool. I like watching the dogs and cats try to aggrivate him. Doesn't work too well. They usually get his spikes in the noses and paws. He plows through them like they don't exist. Hedgehogs only look like they could do damage to you. It's more a scare tactic than anything else.

Great reading some info about people who's posts I see all the time! :)

Lori, 44.... Fifth generation native Californian.
Another "not young" one. Started smoking at 17. PAD until May 2010, when I saw a cheap ecig set up at my local smoke shop. Bought it a few weeks later, hated it but loved the idea. Found ECF on the web while researching better PVs - and visited almost every day since!
Stopped smoking analogs on June 1st. After many, many mod purchases from classifieds I finally bought a used Buzz (then another when I wreaked the first in my dogs water bowl - hmm, still need to get that one fixed). Now it's the only PV I use - and have passed on my others to friends to start them vaping in the right way.

My hubby of 23 years and my kids are ecstatic about my switching to ecigs, and we all talk to smokers we run into about it and give out cards for ECF. I've "met" a lot of fantastic people through this site. I really believe that the support network on here is amazing! :)

Great story Lori! I was first introduced to vaping from our local smoke shop too. I was intrigued, but instead of buying I came home and did research. ECF was the first forum I found and have loved being a member here ever since. Well except when I get too rowdy and get threatened with being taken out to the wood shed LOL
