Will be one week tomorrow that I have had my eGO-T and I thought that I was already getting used to the thing. Felt like I wasn't getting nearly as much flavor or vapor and was disappointed. Well I decided to replace the coil with a new one and HOLY CRAP. The vapor was overwhelming.

Looks like about the 4 day point I should be replacing them?

Since you said "coil" it sounds like you're NOT using the actual "Ego-T" tank/atomizer...
What are you using?

If it's a Kanger kind of thing - an EVOD or ProTank or T3 or something similar - well, "it depends".
Depends on your juice, on your vaping style, on what kind of day the chinese kid was having when he made that particular coil.
You might get 10 mls through a coil, you might get 50.
I clean them every couple tanks, just with hot water (there are more complete cleaning methods - vodka soak, "dry burning") - and I rotate using several so I might change 3 of them one day, then go a couple weeks re-using washed ones...

Yup, every juice delivery device known to vaping needs maintenance/replacement sooner or later. Are you using the actual eGo-T tank system, or what do you have on top of the battery? And don't feel bad, no-one knows everything about it when they first start vaping :thumb:

It is made by Smok but looks very similiar.

Like this one? I used to use the eGo-C tank system and got to know its maintenance procedures very well. I don't know if you can take this one apart for dry burning, but you should be able to at least boil it in water and/or flush it out to keep alive a bit longer. I'm heading off to bed so I can't look it up for you right now but Google how to clean, or how to dry burn this atty and you should find info on it.

If you do no cleaning, how long it will last depends on how 'gunky' the juice is and how high you turn up the voltage in a VV device if you had one. In my experience with eGo-C attys I estimate every 4 to 8 tank fulls. The longer you let it go between cleanings, the harder it is to bring them back to good performance and the less overall time you'll get from each.

These are really not good devices. Switching to EVODs or ProTanks or just about anything else on the market these days will probably be a better experience for you.

Oh I love those! All I do is rinse them with hot water and blow the water out and let it dry. Go to youtube and search for "dry burning protank coil and it will show you how to do that I only do the dry burning once a week.

The T3S heads will also fit them. To me they are better and they are a little cheaper. I have about 3 of those and rotate them and I usually get a month out of the coils by cleaning them after every tankful.

That looks a lot like a slightly bigger Kanger MT3s. I use the Kanger version and love it.

The replacement heads are just over $1, so I change them 2 or 3 times per week, because I like the vapor.

I don't know what the heads cost for your model, but if they cost more than $2 each, go buy a Kanger. Sun Vapers and VapingMe have the Kanger heads in 5 packs for cheap.

I rotate coils. The ones I am not using are always soaking in vodka. Then when the time comes I rinse then with hot water really well (using tweezers to hold them) then do a good dry burn, rinse again and let them dry. Then the one I take out goes into the vodka. I find using this method you can get lots of life out of them.

That's exactly what I do. With two juices I use the coils can last over a week, one juice will gunk them up in a day :grr: Guess which juices I use more? :)

I have several of these and I love them as I can use all my tank-crackers in them. I've been using the same 2 coils in my main one that I vape my cinnamon roll in for the last 5 weeks. Whenever I notice I'm getting less vapor, I just take out the coil and wash it in really hot water and pop the other one in while it dries, and then repeat. I can usually go 3-4 days before I have to clean a coil. So far that has been working for me.
