I don't want to piece one togeather I want it to come in a starter kit. I want it to be cylinder shaped and cool looking like a futuristic pen or a ciarette with inexpensive replacement parts that have to be repalaced as infrequently as possible but lots of throat hitting vapor. An led at the end would be nice when lit. I also want to be able to smoke it in the downward motion. obviously I will be buying spare parts and lots of ejuice but that's what I want... I THOUGHT I finally had it with the Apollo Superior eGo CE4 Kit but I guess I was wrong again... I hate all of these options.

Well, so... Are the Apollo batteries still working? Seems like they are ego threaded, so different clearomizers would work. You may not need an entire kit if the batteries are in good shape.

My opinion follows: I'm not a huge fan of prepackaged starter kits. It often seems to me that it's just the supplier trying to get rid of outdated clearomizers that don't sell on their own anymore. Not always, but often seems that way.

I do think it's important he gets something he feels comfortable using. He's not going to feel comfortable using something he thinks looks stupid.

I agree. When I bought the MVP i was surprised at how small it was though,
I thought it looked stupid at first.... It really doesnt. And its smaller than a pack of smokes. Its about \half a pack...
