We'retired of leaking tanks......Help please....

So my Wife and I have been through many tanks, most from Kanger, and they all leak. I have been building coils for couple years now and do not want disposable coils (they suck). She has a nebox that leaks so much it's useless. Our other tanks leak now too. I still have a nebox but they seem to have a life of less than a year before issues become non-stop. Changing o-rings etc...I just want a good box and good tank, that runs like it's supposed to. We usually run about 30W on regular basis. High VG juices.

Im looking towards Lemo, Billow, kayfun??? What can you guys/gals recommend for us?

Thank you!

Innokin Axiom, great at .50 ohms and 30 watts.
Others have posted leaking problems, I own two and nary a drop leaked.

I had a Lemo version 1 and 2..........no leaking issues that I remember, but dry hits galore, tried many different wicking variations, to no avail:(

One Question though, Do you mouth to lung or direct to lung?
If you mouth to lung, disregard what I posted

Direct to lung hits. Good advice on lemo. I was under the impression that they were better tanks.

Try tweaking your wicking, this usually the source of leaks

I have tried everything. less wick, more wick, coil styles....

Now my leakbox (what I am currently using) is better than hers but still not going to keep it in my pocket. We have tried kanger, aspire, couple others that I do not recall since I gave them away. For what ever reasson she has always had problems more than myself but its still so bad I want nothing more than new hardware. She is even more infuriated than I am (read un-happy Wife = un-happy life. LOL).

There's also the new Uwell D2 with a Velocity deck with all kinds of over-engineered approaches to prevent leaking. Top airflow like the Sapor (different implementation) but with a 4 ml capacity. There are some early reviews out there, and it's on Uwell's site. The design is interesting and I'm curoius how it does after release myself

Didn't like the Billow flavor was muted My Lemo2 leaked from the top fill port.

LOVE the Kayfun and Orchid good flavor no leaks.

Kayfun Mini V3 leaks unless i turn off the Juice flow.

The two attys for tge best flavor is Goblin Mini, and silverplay nano.

Flavor is out of this World. But the airflow is directly under the coils. Screw up the wicking and they will leak big time

leaking is a standard feature on the nebox, you can't fix that

share pics of your coil builds in the subtank (i'm guessing that's what you're using) so we can critique and figure out what you're doing wrong please

if you want a suggestion for a tank that will only leak if you don't build it right, get a kayfun 5

edit: @whodat2112 the kayfun 5 can't MTL without the MTL kit. as standard, every airflow setting is direct to lung-able

My sub tank does not leak and i will be going back to that after this tank of juice in the leakbox. I bouight the nebox since its the same deck and design, there fore I have redundancy in builds/parts.
My wifes subtank finally crapped out all together and caused her box to short as well. Her e-cig issues are the main reason for this thread as she is a tough one to keep off analogs (UGH).

pics....I do not have a pic account to upload them from. Otherwise heck yeah! you guys would see all kinds off selfie stuff from our house! LMAO!

High wattage and free air flow require high juice flow rates. It's hard to control on a cloud tank.

OTOH, MTL tanks are a little better at controlling leakage because they have small juice channels to feed 10 watt coils.

I agree that better engineering could also deliver DTL vapes without leaving juice leaking in your pocket.

From my understanding, Kayfuns are for MTL vaping.
Yes and NO.

Kayfuns are best known for MTL vaping. Such as the Kayfun lite plus.

However at Fasttech you can get s Kayfun Monster Mini V3 base where you can do Lung hits NO problem.

$3.73 Free Shipping Replacement Base for Kayfun v3.0 RTA Atomizers (Base (Kayfun v3.0), 22mm, SS, Silver) at m.FastTech.com

They fit the Kayfun attys perfectly. I used these under a Kayfun lite plus Atty for about a year.

I wanted MTL again and about two months ago i put the lite plus base in again. When i Wand direct lung again i only need switch the bases

One word of CAUTION. There is this Monster V3, you can use in a Kayfun Atty.

There is also the Monster V3 by 528 Customs. This will not fit a Kayfun Atty because tge build deck on the 528 Customs is .5-.75 mm wider than the build deck of the Kayfun.

An easy way to tell tge Kayfun Monster Mini V3, and 528 Customs Monster V3 is to look at the bottom.

If it is plain NO problem. If it says 528 Customs on the bottom you can't use it under a Kayfun Atty.

Well when i used tge Subtank Nano with old style OCC heads it never leaked.

Three months ago i got a Subtank Mini because the RBA was easier to build for my messed up left hand than my Kayfun.

All the STM did do was leak and pour out the airflow. A real problem with quality Control at Kanger.

The Kayfun Monster Mini bsse i posted earlier i used this base under vs bell cap on my Mini Volt, then my istick Pico.

Works great under a normal Kayfun. It gives direct lung hits and never leaked more than 2-3 drops in a year (even lying on its side in my pocket. The times it leaked i had done a rebuild or rewick snd had not tightened tge bell cap properly.

    Leak free? Not completely impossible.

One of my favorite RTA's is the Lemo2. Stuffed with the 'right amount' of wick it is leak free reliable and no dry hits (I run %100VG at times) however 30W and above might be pushing the little juice channels+wick. I'm currently using one of mine in TC mode with a mere 20W. No issues.

The Kanger SubTank Mini and RBA in its 1st form (little slots) also can work leak free up to ~25W. The newer RBA's can be leak free as long as you fill it from the bottom. I'm not so happy with their "top fill" versions. (might need way more wick than I've stuffed in there) The top fill versions can still be bottom filled with less issues.

I have a few TFV4's in service that only leak right after filling. I just invert the tank right after securing the top fill door and let the extra juice run out the drip tip onto a paper towel. The first few hits after filling it is rather obvious that the wick is over saturated but it settles down fairly quickly.

As mentioned the Kayfun series has very effective juice flow control. I find the V5 can be opened up enough for a restricted D2L hit. The clones on FT are not very expensive. Ditto for the KFv4, I have a number of clones in service and not a drop out of any of them. I have no reservations to putting one in my office shirt pocket and heading off to work.

My lemo2 never leaked out the airflow or threads but poured Juice out the fill port on top.
