My mini got here today. I was all excited, so I read the manual, put the battery I had ordered with it in, and put the tank on it. No joy. I made sure the voltage was good, it makes some noise, etc. But no hit. I have some cartomizers that came with it, but I am a receptionist, dripping at work is not possible. What am I doing wrong?

Wolf308, please elaborate a bit more.

What type of battery, the ProVari's voltage setting, the delivery device's resistance in ohms?

ETA: Is the juice delivery device properly prepared to vape?

Yes, elaborate more. What juice delivery device are you using? (what type of tank? clearomizer, vivi nova, cartotank, protank?)

What is the ohm rating on the juice delivery device?

What voltage did you set?

Did you charge the battery? Is it the proper battery? For the Mini, it should be an 18350 IMR (not a protected battery).

Does the LED display come on when you press the fire button 5 times? Did you wait a couple of seconds for the display to turn off before you tried to vape?

"just a guess because we dont have enough info:

you are cutting off the air supply, the provari doesnt have notches in the head to allow air.
So you can hear it fire, but cant pull."

That's what it was. I got frustrated at work and took it out on the DCT. I use the Artemas Tube. If you remove the locking ring from the bottom it works on the ProVari. Now I just need to try some of my other tanks.
