Thank you. It was a passion of mine for awhile. I've had many hobbies.
Here is a leather carving I did a long time ago. 1 of many but I don't know what happened to the rest of them.
And the last one for tonight is some woodcarvings I did a long time ago. The horse isn't finished yet. I might have bitten off more than I could chew with that one.

For the leather? No, it was all done with leather stamping & modeling tools and then stained. For the wood carvings, I used a dremel, chisels and knives. The horse is made out of Teak so it is very hard. That's where the dremel came in handy.
Wood carving is one of the few things I haven't done ! The leather too...That seems like it would be similar to copper relief....that was fun !

LOved the hemetite earrings! The wood carving is wonderful too. I wish I could still do that..my eyes are good enough for the detail anymore.
Class i learned by carving soap..but use a knife you don't care about..the soap will mess it up. If you mess up your work..throw it in the tub!

The ceramics are great fudgey- halloween would be a lot of fun

Carrie, a woman after my own heart! I am a complete sucker for yummy soaps. It's one thing I always treat myself with - good soap. I figure it's relatively inexpensive for a little luxury, and I have to take a shower anyway!
The colors of the rainbow sherbet soap are pretty, too. Do you sell your soaps?
Laura, it would be great to see some photos of your critters.... I'd love to have a two-sided aquarium built into a wall. Unfortunately, I don't know the first thing about caring for fish.
