Class: Yeah, it describes it pretty darned well. I'm hosting a family reunion at my house next weekend. Three reunioneers will be staying at my place. My daughter is working full time and can't come over to help clean. My son - well - he doesn't know how to clean. At one point, I put crime scene tape across his bedroom door. I seriously did! He did go out with the machete today and cleared the encroaching forest away from the driveway. At least the briars won't scratch people's cars now. Cleaning this place, well, it's gonna take A LOT of spoons. So, I'm trying to plan it all out to pace myself and not end up lacking in spoonage. 'Course, I can't get it all done too early or it will just be un-done by the time the weekend arrives.

Have you thought about "hiring help" for the weekend ?? ...Or for after to help clean back up ?

That's part of the reason we bought a smaller house when we moved here from California....we were always the "stay at" house...it kind of got old after so many years...

My son then moved back home to keep me outta trouble. Everyone in the family knows I've got this big house in the middle of a forest with room to spare. * My secret evil dream is to decorate the outside with slabs of gingerbread, icing, and gumdrops. The locals would all think I'm the witch in Hansel and Gretel and stop poaching on my land! *
