Wow, you ladies are all so creative. Rave, you are amazing. It's a shame you are so far away or I'd try and commition you to paint my dogs! I am not artistic I any way, the only thing I can make is a mess, lol! However I do play guitar, bass and drums so I get my creative kicks that way! All my friends are really artistic, I am so jealous. The worst of it is they don't seem to realise what a gift it is.

The scented candles are GREAT!! Nothing makes a room more cozy than the smell of a scented candle.

Again - Thanks for the compliments ladies! I don't sell my work anymore because packaging prints to ship out and trying to haul them to UPS while attempting to navigate with a cane is just not worth the effort. I will not ship originals. A few of my collectors have actually made the trip out here to my studio to purchase originals that I'm willing to part with, but they have to realllly make it worth my while to part with them. When I could still paint, I averaged 3 - 4 hours per square inch for complicated areas, so an original painting could take half a year to complete. Hard to let go of something that takes so much effort and passion to express.

I've also tried crocheting, but I can't seem to crochet a straight line. Following someone else's pattern or directions is beyond me. A sweater? No way I could do that! I did make Troy. He is crocheted and then hooked like a rug. No pattern though. When my late husband was building the house he designed a special Tiger Shelf just for him.

Troy was fun, but took about a year and a half to make him (I think). At one time I tried coercing my husband into mechanizing the tail tip to give a slight swish/twitch and installing a "low growl" in the throat (both to be set off by a motion detector). He never got around to it. As is, Troy still scared the heck outta pizza delivery guys when he was in the foyer lounging on the piano in our old house. I'm evil.

I love Troy! I did a live size (almost)paper mache Panther when I was in High School..it was our rival school's mascot. Someone els did a Falcon attacting him...lol That was fun trying to get him to school on a bus..he needed 2 seats to himself!
Ha ha! I would love to have seen the reactions of folks driving next to the bus. Bet they were surprised!

Thanks...when my mother in law passed away last year I got all of her crochet hooks, patterns and yarn as none of the girls had ever taken an interest. She had started the most beautiful multi color afghan...I found the pattern among her things and this winter when I have more time to focus I'm going to finish it. That one I will keep to cuddle up with at night..part mom..part me, it will be perfect:)

Oh by the way...when I accomplish that task you will know!!!

Those are the best!

My grandma made me a table cloth crocheted with the very the small yarn. It is so awesome......I have it in a plastic bag in the closet. I smile every time I see it :)
