I make chainmaille and beaded jewelry for my living, but I also crochet, draw, cross stitch, black work embroidery, 10th-15th century period clothing design and sewing, leather work, etc. A lot of the crafts I do have a period bend to them, as I am part of the SCA.

Wow the talent!!

I enjoy candle making, online games , web-browsing, growing herbs, and practicing meditation.

Lately I have been studying for the Notary Public exam which is in 2 days, THAT has got to be the least creative thing in the world!

I play guitar, write songs, sing, paint and recently started kayaking. I did a YouTube video of a funny kayak experience along with the song I wrote to go with it. Humm I like bead work, polymer clay, my embroidery machine( lately burp cloths for friends), scrapbooking and above all baking. I love making cake just for the he** of it my hubby says thats why he gained weight lol. I also make molds of stuff mostly mickey lately because that is my 4 year olds favorite and I have done his room in mickey I made drawer pulls, fan pulls, outlet covers you name it its mickey lol

And I help my hubby do video contests. He uses my voice for voice overs sometimes its a good way to kill time expand his knowledge on animation and make a few bucks.

Celtic, my son is learning chainmail. he's done a few small things like dice bags and some jewelry.

Topso. I did a dollhouse for my daughter when she was 5, and made all the furniture, pictures and rugs myself.

April, I love growing herbs. My G'kids say I put weeds in my food (I notice it doesn't stop them from eating the spaghetti).

I have a black thumb, I kill all plants. I love orchids and wish I wasn't such a mass murderer when it comes to plant life.

I used to be an orchid killer, but over the years you learn the ins and outs. I wish I had the space (and yard!) to grow a vanilla orchid, I'd love to try making my own extract

I thought vanila was a different plant from orchids! Wow..a new thing learned.
I am good with plants as long as they stay outside, everytime I try to bring them in..poof..more mulch for the outside guys.
I am a bird killer! I got 2 parakeets when hubby ran a pet warehouse. They were pretty, I put them in a bay window and built a pagoda for them complete with a refecting pool. I even got them a dwarf tree (I thought) to sit in. Who knew the fools would sit in the tree by the window in the winter and die of cold! The next two were in a warmer part of the house..under a vent...yep..kaput.
Mike says I can only keep condors from now on. My chickens did fine, they lived for almost 10 years....outside!
Oh the tree was planted by the house..It died back last year due to having 4 freezes in a row..it was 20 feet high!

Hmmm hobbies. I have entirely too many. Besides work and home and mom stuff, I love to read and am never without a book. I play MMORPGs (WoW at the moment, EQ before that - yikes 10 years of it now!) and tabletop RPGs, paint miniatures (I love doing teeny dioramas), sew - everything from clothes to quilts (I'm on a wallet and purse kick at the moment and am planning a pattern to cover and add to the 510 PCC), make beaded jewelry, and taught myself how to play guitar 2 years ago, because I can't sing and play the flute at the same time.

I love to cook and especially to bake. I worked as a professional cake decorator for several years (wish I had some pics). I moved on from cakes to faces and worked as a pro make-up artist for even more years before moving onto sales and marketing and biz dev consulting. I'm starting nursing school in the fall. At 40. *eep*

Wow, you are all so talented!

Since my accident I don't get to do much. I love being on my computer and I love my video games! I have run a couple of forums and I did manage to learn to do a little CSS coding to make the backgrounds and such for said forums. I really love to help people however I can so I belong to an advice forum. I like to look up health related things. My mom used to say I knew just enough about it to be a pain in the ....,lol

But my newest hobby is the one I really love and that's playing mad scientist with the juice and different flavorings,lol I have come up with some great flavors and I have come up with some really nasty ones too,lol But it's all fun!
