I don't vape when people are around, but if I'm vaping at like a bus stop or hanging around somewhere and someone comes close to me, I would not stop. If they don't like it then they shouldn't of came close to me.

Around smokers I don't hold back though.

I keep it low key but I'm allowed to vape on the shop floor at work. Vaping is not a social outlet for me with one exception. In past years, when a brother of mine and I got together we would step away for a smoke, now we step out for a vape. I keep extra nic in the freezer to be sure the government can't interfere with that.

I never vape in places where smoking isn't allowed. Fortunately, it's seldom I find myself in a no smoking area, just the hour or so per week I spend in the mall or grocery stores. If the situation was different tho and I found myself in a position where I couldn't vape for extended periods... I'm sure I would get 'creative'.
Vaping is like that, it's easy enough to sneak a hit without being noticed.

Vape onnn...

I vape at home in my office. I vape in my car. I vape in public if I am on the street. I don't vape anywhere you can't smoke. Anywhere except in priest rectory. When they sanctimoniously tell me "You can't do that in here!" I say "Oh really? You are going to enforce the rules now after all the against-the-rules shenanigans you people have been up to for the last few decades? THIS is what offends you? Is that what you are saying Father Handsinpants?" They usually shut up after that. The I go out and look for uptight, know it all, vaping is super bad for you liberals to vape around. They are the best ones because they are SOOO reactionary from believing everything they read no matter how contradictory it is.

I vape at home and in the car. That's pretty much it. I don't vape where smoking isn't allowed, and I don't vape at other people's homes. I did vape at an outdoor restaurant once, but felt uncomfortable doing so. I have vaped in outdoor smoking areas.

Each to their own though. I vape where I feel comfortable. :)

I am basically with everybody above.... it its a place you shouldn't smoke.. I don't vape. If its an open outdoor area I always ask if anyone would mind if I vaped.. which normally starts a great conversation about vaping.. showing how the gear works... explaining how I quit smoking thanks to vaping .. and all the wonderful flavors available. More often then not.. I current smoker will come up and ask if "that stuff really works"... I tell them its no cake walk to switch form analogs to vaping... but once you embrace vaping your health and money in your wallet will both improve by leaps and bounds.

I openly vape at home, in my car, in bars, outdoor eating areas of restaurants, and outdoors in general, (at 25-30W with a 0.9 ohm ccell coil when in public). I sometimes stealth vape, (lower wattage, tighter draw, hold before exhale), in places like grocery stores, movie theaters, etc. Regardless, I don't vape obnoxiously by blowing clouds or exhaling vapor toward anyone.

I've never had a problem, but this is AZ, and people in general here are more respectful of personal liberties than in most other states. Ymmv.

I generally vape only where smoking is permitted. I say generally, because if it is going to be a long time before getting outside, etc., I'll stealth vape in a restroom or something to "tide me over". :D

Otherwise, I vape freely at home, my car, outdoors, and at work (when no one is in my office).

Early on in my vaping career, on the few occasions I vaped in the bathroom at a restaurant, I found it best to be one of the few places I liked having a sub-ohm cloud chasing atty. When I'd hear someone else come in I'd take alternating breaths to grunt and fog up the room. Then I'd flush and come out and say "Whatever you do mate, don't have the blueberry cheese cake! I had it here last night and that's been happening ever since. That coming out of your colon can't be good for ya!

We mostly vape indoors in our own homes or at the office/shop, etc. We try to keep it to a minimum in public places and ghost vape in a washroom stall if we need it that bad!

That's unfortunate, especially for someone in the industry.

Are Canadian laws that restrictive.. or are a lot of Canadians hostile to vaping?

Like so many others I don't vape where I wouldn't have smoked. I was a pipe smoker and always tried to be discrete and never blew smoke over other folk so again I do the same with vaping. I do vape in the street, but then again in Scotland folk do both vape and smoke in the streets. In Spain folk smoke, dot end of story! There I vape where you can smoke. So far no one has said anything adverse about my vaping, so I must just about be getting it right.
