I do remove the Wick on my Cisco LR306's nowadays. I only started doing it because I burnt one of my atty's wicks and could not get the burnt taste out. Since then I just got used to it. :)

I have read about other folks using the wick from E2's to add more wick to the 306 but have not tried it myself.

I do admit that since dewicking my atty's a little of the flavor has been diluted, not much just a tad. I imagine with a larger wick you may get more flavor. Hopefully soon others that have done this can chime in with their impressions.

mini IKV 2.0Ω 801's with the avidvaper.com stealth adapter
full IKV 2.0Ω 801's with the avidvaper.com stealth adapter
Cisco LR 306 2.0Ω

I had one Cisco LR 306 1.5Ω atty get that burnt taste because when I primed it for the first time I only added 2drops of juice. It was horrible so I dewicked it... The flavor is diluted but believe it or not it is still running strong and I got it in November... It has been resting for a couple of weeks now but it is on my Inferno as back up and has yet to fail me when needed.
I would say that personally I'd keep the wick in it unless I had a mishap and ran it too dry. But that is only my opinion and if it works for you to dewick them right from the start... well I'd say stick with what works.

After Dewicking some of my 306's that had that burt tast in them, i would have to say the 306! Dewicking them really brought them to life! Although I love the draw on these new 510 LR's that I just got. They seem to flood real EZ, but if you get the juice just right the vapor is thick as pea soup!
