Sure thing Windy. And Rhaps hit the nail on the head: some flavors taste great at 2.0-ohms and not at 1.5-ohms. With a 1.5-ohm atty, most of the flavors I got from Ms. T's didn't start tasting all that good until my battery drained. When those flavors started tasting good, my battery voltage read somewhere between 3.2 to 3.4 volts IIRC -- roughly around the same watts I would have gotten with a fresh batt and 2.0-ohm atty.

Mlinky,

Wow, that was very informative! Now I understand much better, thank you very much for providing that link!
And thank you, CJLite too! Now I know how to figure some of this stuff out for ordering MORE STUFF :)

I've been reading so much about atomizers, my head is spinning...ha ha.. So, if I'm worried about losing flavor, I should stick to the 2.0 LR 510 atomizers? Is that right? I only bought one bauway 510 LR to try out my mini and I need to make a decision on which to buy. Will using a LR 306 or 801 result in better flavor? I'm getting plenty of vapor but the flavor isn't really where I hope it would be. If I do choose something other than a 510, I do need an adapter, correct? Thanks for any help.

I recommend getting a variety and switching up attys and flavors whenever your vape starts to get "blah." If you want to use an atty other than one with 510 threads on your Mini, go for it, BUT use low profile adapters such as the stealth versions from avid vaper or mad vapes. I've found that one atty doesn't work well with all of my juices.

springfling. Give your atty a break in period. Sometimes it could take a couple of days. Most suppliers say at least a day. I would judge it on how much you vape. A heavy vaper give it a day. A light vaper 2 or more days. 306 is the same thread as a 510 so no adapter needed. For a 801 or 901 you would need a 510-801 and a 510-901 adapter. I find that 1.5 is good for the Mini. But it wouldnt hurt to try 2.0 to see if you like them better. Like mudflap said get stealth adapters.

Ahhhhhhh.....Now I see the difference atomizers make! I am a first-time user of LR atties, in almost 2 years of vaping.
I just got my Cisco 306 LR 2.0 ohm atties yesterday in the mail. I read about prepping them before trying them out, so I dripped 8-10 slow drops of e-liquid on them and then let them sit for 10 minutes before trying them out. Put a purple 306 drip tip on to match my new Black/Purple Reo Mini, and I am now in vaping bliss! :vapor:

Are you testing these on the Reo Mini or Grand?

Lucky you! :thumb: It would be great if you post your findings and preferences on these!

I plan on doing a review with photos, but it might take a while. I will use the same Mini, same AW IMR 14500 battery and same juice for comparisons. I will swap the atomizers back and forth frequently several times on the Mini. Then I will repeat that process using a Grand with the same 18650 battery and same juice. I will do this with two different juices. The first juice will be a sweet flavor from Ms. T's bakery. The second juice will be PG menthol. Each atty will be rated for flavor and throat hit. The atties will also have their draw rated (airy, medium, tight).
