It does matter big time, please use only AW IMR batteris.

There is a real reason why Provape even put this warning on their site:
We recommend only using AW IMR high drain batteries in your ProVari Mini
You must use batteries that have a positive button on the top. Flat top batteries will not work. Using magnets on top of your batteries will void the warranty.

Here we go with the wrong link for the Panasonic battery again.

A FLAT TOP BATTERY WILL NOT WORK IN A PROVARI.

The correct link for the same battery with a button top is HERE

I'll be back when someone posts a link to the wrong magnet to use with flat top batteries in the ProVari. Even though its not a good idea.

I use the AW IMRs. Anyone know how to determine real AWs from knock-offs or fakes?
I have to say I was worried about the run time with the provari mini and the 18350 batteries. But it far outlasted my expectations. Good thing, because I kinda like how it looks with the original end cap over the extended cap.

AW 18650 IMR 2000mah in my Provari. When the time comes I will check what's compatible in higher mah varieties, but it will probably always be something with Japanese made cells inside.

I get an all day vape from my batteries. Sometimes that means I change it after supper, but usually that's because I stopped using the first one at 3.5v and charged it before the battery began to get stressed to cutoff.
