I want to hear from people here that have been vaping for 6 months or more. How has it affected you? Do you have any side effects? Do you know of anyone that has? I think it's crucial to be honest about this. The reason I ask is because we need some documentation on the history of our successes thus far. The biggest problem with skeptics and anti-vapers is the long run. Everyone talks and blogs about how great this is but I feel some input is needed as to what the future holds for us and how it has helped us in the long run. If we are to make our voices heard we must show proof of the benefits.
When vaping heavily (as some of us do) exactly how much PG and other ingredients does your body consume? My estimation is about 1/4 of the liquid you inhale, (we are inhaling vaporized liquid, not smoke, the liquid is boiled, not burnt,) is ingested into your body. So, if I vape 4ml per day, then 1ml stays with me. Is this OK? Will this cause harm to me down the road? This is something we need to know, for ourselves, and those coming to this. I don't want to raise any flags but I think we all should think about it. This technology is new and in need of support. If we don't, who will? Certainly not the tax-loving government accountants, or Big tobacco, or the FDA, known to have the one of the slowest wheels in the system. WE must convince them.
Like so many others, I went from 2 packs to 4 ml per day. I have converted 3 others close to me. The only bad thing I can say about it is that first thing in the morning it can be a little harsh. (Especially with TW36 ;-))
This website is amazing, every hour or 2 there is another post by someone in awe of their experience. Think about the people that don't post on forums, yet read them. I bet their number is many times that of those who do. No one can keep up with their questions. Many of them go unanswered. I bet they don't stop vaping because of that though. It works for them and it works well.
E-cigs are here, and here to stay. For us and many others. When a person in the hospital goes out to have a smoke on that lonely bench,(against all logic and advice,) wouldn't you like to be there? Wouldn't you want to show them how? I want to give this gift to every one of them, I wish I could be there.
I see a lot of conversation here and not enough action. True, I don't have time to read every post here, but I think its time to take vaping to another level. Since I started 4 months ago, I have thought of little else.
I want to compile all the testimony I can about the good and the bad about these things and present it to the right people in the right places to make approval as easy and affordable as possible.
If any of you know anyone that can help with lab testing for the e-liquid, speak up. In the long run I think it will be the main issue.
Letters to your elected officials are awesome, and I'd like to submit more than just our pleas. Give them facts. Please help me help us. Stay on topic and let's try to make a difference. I will compile the info and put it into an easy to read document for submission, keep it short and to the point, if I use your words, I will contact you first. I will post my results in a blog here. All thoughts and ideas are welcome so top up yer carts and let er rip..........a
