I started with Newports "Back in the day" before the prices went through the roof, then right before I quit, it was Pall Mall Menthol Black.

As to an e-liquid close to menthols? I found that Vapor Chef VC Menthol #42 is really quite close. If any of you were menthol smokers that quit for a while and went back, it's kinda like the first hit of a fresh menthol cigarette after not smoking for a while.

Interesting thing is, I'm just not that into it any more.

Favorite was Camel Reds, but usually smoked Grand Prix (called them pontiacs) and Maverick Full Flavor (Called them Mel Gibsons).

I Didn't try to find something that tasted like them really. Found a flavor I liked at the B&M and just went with that.

i was on a pack1/2 of new ports 100 box menthols till the cost of a pack went from 4.50 to 8.00 bucks! i was collecting the upcs to redeem for rewards and they pulled that program out. i was stuck with a good 3000 upcs that i found on streets so i then began packing my own smokes from a bag of menthol tobacco till i had enough!

I started with Camel regular (non-filter) back when I could get them for 35¢ from a machine. When they went from $4-$5 I started rolling American Spirit, one can a week. I actually used snuff to quit smoking but used electronics to quit snuff.

I was wondering what everyone used to smoke before they started vaping, and also if you have found any eliquid close to it. I used to smoke Pall Mall Reds....I still havent found anything close haha.

I'm pretty sure there is an analog out there and Dekang makes it. I have a bottle of their cuban cigar flavored juice and it's really good. I know they have analogs for just about everything, even the Doral that I used to smoke.

I was a PAD Pall Mall Blue smoker. I wondered the same thing. I ordered Palmar and it tasted pretty close. It doesn't have the ash taste. I thought it tasted like a clean e cig flavor without the nutty taste.
