I am probably savin now after a year. Well maybe not. I haven't bought anything in a few months. But then again I am stocked up for years to come or for as long as I can keep my DIY stuff from going bad. I think as long as I keep it seperate it should last years anyway. I was a RYO kind of guy anyway.

But good for you I'm really glad to hear stories about people who can save money.

Congrats Good Luck and Happy Vaping.

Back in August when I started doing the math, I was convinced I was going to save almost $200 a month. Since my daughter was going off to college, I upgraded us (me, husband and the girlie) to Droid 2's, and used some of the "savings" to pay for the $30 data plans on our phones.

Problem is that was before I found this forum. It's taken a while to get over my "kid in a candy store" shopping spree, but now that I have found three great vendors whose juice I really like (Velvet Vapors site has re-opened ) and Sir Lawrence's awesome Saber Touch, I think I may actually be able to reign in my spending. Well, after I send payment today for the co-op I joined for attys. LOL Maybe next week...

I hadn't bought anything in 5 months other then some juice and atomizers... Then I went on a spending spree!!! Lemme see... Clearomizers, Provari, Genesis Hybrid, and eGo-T atomizers and tanks!!! 2011 has been expensive for me, but the inovations we have seen has taken vaping to the next level as far as I am concerned.

:laugh::laugh: You guys crack me up.

I buy more stuff. Can never have too many atties, batts or juice.

Of course, that's minus the $60,000 for the "pole shed" with heating and a/c, built in storage units, furniture, computer, flat screen t.v., stereo system, and work area for DIY.

ROFL. Don't give me any ideas!

. . . or the week after lol.

I have kept (kinda) a spreadsheet on what I saved from not buying cigs and what I spent on ecig stuff. I quit with the monthly totals after I realized that I couldn't tell dh the 'big savings total' cos there wasn't any!

I still smoke a cig here and there but more and more now, I put it out right after I light it. They taste like crap. Ecigs really do taste better.

I put off getting my first 510 with a PFC for almost 2 months because I thought I couldn't afford it. I will never go back to analogs, but am I saving money? If I would stop buying mods, hardware, juice etc. However I am well stocked and have given some of my 510's to people to try. Now if I could just refrain from ordering the Infinity.

I don't usually put the money aside or anything, but I bought a Wii (on a payment plan) based on what I should have saved by now. I'm considering it a 45 day gift, especially since it came exactly on 45 days analog free. Any other savings goes to supplies. I might start putting aside the money I would have spent on analogs, so that I can save up for something big.
