Yep... I know it needed some repairs, but the final verdict was that there was just too much resistance. My opinion is that the only true, greenhouse free power that can sustain us until we get fusion power working, is nuclear. There just seems to be way too much misinformation and fear. My father worked for Bechtel so I've learned a lot.

Yeah, junk science and tabloid sensationalism have almost killed nuclear in the US. I was proud to work on the NGNP program for next generation helium-cooled reactors, but the tsunami damage in Japan caused the tide to turn in Washington, and funding was diverted elsewhere ...

Sadly, the experts tell me that fusion is still a long way off ... :(

Hey All, I am an Oil and Natural Gas Environmental health and safety (EHS) consultant, currently working in north eastern Wyoming. I am currently over all 3 drilling rigs. I do work a good schedule 14 days on and 14 days off. On my days off, I cut and make vinyl decals and signs, you know like the Calvin ...... on everything, just for a little hobby/extra money.

I had considered moving up there to Wyoming/north Dakota... Heard that the money there is unreal for the same jobs elsewhere.
