Nope, I still have my Zippo collection just no fluid for them, nor do I take them out of their case all that often. I was never really a Bic person, and some of my lighters are works of art, so I keep them but not carry them.

I had that happen once at work as well, and it's difficult not to laugh when you're obviously vaping (using an eGo or Provari) and you still get asked.
I didn't think about it before, but we are actually killing the lighter industry with our vaping evangelism. I'm sure Bic will survive because they still have their pens, but what about Cricket and Djeep? We're job killers!

It happened to me at Christmas. My cousin asked me to light the candles on the table.
Then blushed and said something along the lines of "Oh, (naughty word), I'm sorry, I forgot you quit smoking. I didn't make you feel bad or want one, did I?"

i still have my zipposand some butane lighters that were gifts i wont

Maybe instead you could keep a spare eGo battery with a carto on it for his emergency back-up!
