I get this question a lot from my mom. Every time I mention it or talk about there's always "But then you decrease the nicotine level and quit altogether right????". Haven't come up with a good answer besides "yes, technically it can work that way".

Non smokers I don't think get the huge level the addiction goes to, and how deeply the physical/mental habbit can be. Now with this I get everything I love without any of the drawbacks. Tastes a hell of a lot better too :D.

Not sure if I ever plan on quitting vaping, if anything will make me quit it will be running out of money from ordering too many supplies lol.

Georgiasl, "YOU ARE JUST NOT SUFFERING ENOUGH!"

The non-smokers have heard how hard it is to quit smoking, so they want to see us suffer! (So act like you're suffering when you're around them).

And the smokers are just jealous because they can't quit smoking like us, so they want to make us feel like we're still smoking if we don't quit vaping. Just tell them you're still praying for them.

Next time somebody is rude enough to ask when you're going to quit vaping, just say as sweetly as you can, "I guess when Hell freezes over."

I'm glad to know that I am not the only one dealing with this question on a daily basis. I think you hit the nail on the head thewomenfolk, I must seam just too damn happy to have quit smoking. I clearly need to come back with sarcastic and/or firm responses so that way "those people" will back off.

It's been my experience that people are pack animals that are constantly looking for acceptance from others in the herd. Smokers question the vaping because the ex-smoker is no longer complying with what they still identify with. Non-smokers question the vaping because it's still not the same as not smoking. The smokers want you to go back to being like them and smoking. The non-smokers want you to be like them and not do either. Never give either a carrot like "I'm going to quit someday" or "I still will smoke a regular cigarette on occasion" and they'll grow tired of hitting a brick wall and will go away.

They have no understanding about it and I guess I can forgive them for there lack of knowlege8-o cause they can't know what they don't know.
I have been analog free for over 6 months! That is what matters to ME.
Good luck and congraulations everyone.

I think the reason people ask this is because they think it's a quitting device instead of an alternative. I just politely tell them I'm not planning on quitting I just wanted something healthier for me than analogs.

Excellent point!

Maybe I should say "Should I?" If they answer "Yes" then I should ask them to explain why. Might be an interesting experiment!
