A combination of regulated voltage and finding my all day vape.

I started with a kr808 and always loved the first hit or two from a brand new battery but that would gradually decline throughout the day.
Regulated voltage gave me the same awesome experience every time.

As for my all day vape, I still use it almost every day year later.

I never had a hump. I bought my kit, and a bottle of Dekang USA mix (YUCK!). Googled "electronic cigarette," found ECF, bought a different juice (Dragon's Blood from ECBlend), and loved it so much I was craving it instead of cigarettes. Went from 1 and 1/2 packs a day to zero in one week.

However, I think the biggest problem for most people is finding a juice they like immediately, and can stick with. That is the biggest complaint I here from people I have converted. I was lucky I guess. I still vape Dragon's Blood on occasion, and while it is still a great juice, it never compares to the first time I vaped it.

It took me quite a while to quit too.
I bought my first e-cig to cut back on smoking (since I was convinced that I'd never be able to quit). Had to find a decent, easy to use PV (the Gogo finally filled that need for me). Then had to find a good juice. I settled on 555. (I couldn't stand food/desert stuff.) Then I went fruity, nutty and RY4. Then I went for more and different fruit (blackberry is usually pretty good). Somewhere during this phase, I found I didn't want any more cigs and just quit. Now I can't stand the tobacco taste and found a sweet mix I love (I think it has caramel in it) and I've been pretty happy with this set up for almost a year.
To sum up my rambling, I suggest just "patience".

Oh, yeah. I started with the usual 18mg which didn't do much, but the 24 mg did.

Higher mg (24 or 28 for me), juice tastes I like & #1: permission to smoke. A close friend laughed when I called her at 24 hours of no paper cigs and losing my mind. She told me to go ahead and allow myself 5 cigs a day ( I never did get up to five after that). My husband is not climbing up my...um...leg...and demanding that I quit. He said point blank that if I maintained 2 or 3 a day - instead of my previous 50 or 60 he'd be thrilled & impressed. I haven't had a paper cig for a bit over two weeks now because I choose not to. Should anyone tell me that I can't - well, I know my "inner teenager" would take over and I'd go get some.
Sidenote: I dropped off a cigalike kit to my friend last week 'cause she thought the idea was neat. Just showed up with one for her and said - hey, here ya' go - check it out... She called to tell me she likes it and was substituting it for cigs quite a bit. I cheered her on! BTW - she's 82! :D & definitely does as she damned well pleases, so the whole idea had to be brought up by her.
