Had seen an e-cig (lookie likey) a couple of years a go but it wasn't that good so thought no more about it. then just over a month ago a mate in France got a part time job in an e-cig shop and we were talking about them, and i was looking for a way to cut down on what i spent on cigs. I did some looking around and eventually got a SkyCig starter kit (Regret) was on special and claims that a pack of 5 carts was equivalent to 7 packs of stinkies drew me in.

SkyCig's arrived in post and charged it up then tried them, quite impressed and thought i would give it a try and see how long it was before i wanted a real cig so stuck with them, couple of days went and the flavours i liked in the sample had run out so moved on to the carts i ordered with the kit. The new carts only lasted about half a day and i was using best part of 3 carts a day so quickly worked out that it was going to be more expensive than buying a pack of Marlboro a day.

I started doing some serious research on the web and found out about the other types of e-cigs and finally decided to give one a try, so ordered a Lavatube and a tank. Not looked back since been loving the vaping, can vape in the house without getting nagged, in the car without all the subtle opening of windows and it's cheaper in the long run.

Currently vaping either USA Brand or RY4, just keep switching between the two and loving it. There were times i would lite a cig and then decide i didn't really want it but would smoke it anyway. Now i just pickup my Lavatube and take a few pulls and all is well in the world. Now looking for a spare device just in case and testing different juices to find a good all day vape.

To be honest, Blu was probably the first exposure I had to ecigs as well. Saw their ads, but never tried.

They are what got me started. I saw someone at a gas station puffing away. Asked if I could try it and fell in love with vapor. The unit sucked, but all the little ones do. (Don't send me flam mail about this. My opinion.) I went and ordered a 901 kit with all the fixings. Sucked. Bought an avs and built my own batt holder for it and fell hard. From there I haven't looked back at the analogs.

I am now a proud owner of a Galileo w/juis, precise+, precise, provari, gtankus, sucbagenv3, iatty, and penelope. I am designing and having built my own units as well. They all have their greatness in their own way.

That is my story.

Rusalka.

Oddly enough it was a mobile audio forum that I'm a member of that finally got me to start vaping and stop huffing the bad stuff. There was a thread about e-cigs there & a couple of guys who's opinion i really trust said they tried them and never went back. One of those members also started a vape business and website Thunder E-Cigs and answered all of my questions at all hours of day or night through email, text and phone calls and ended up making me a loyal customer for life & a vaper for good. I'm no longer wheezing or congested and my wife no longer refers to me as "her lil ashtray" hahaha.

I had known about them for a while, but really thought what a load of crap...lol I was so wrong! I have tried so many different methods to quit and then I said okay lets just try it with the e-cig and see... what have I got to loose and it was the best decision I have made concerning my cig habit, very pleased that I gave it a try, my kids appreciate it very much :)

Saw a ecig kit in our local grocery store, and figured I could probably find something better online. Decided on a big battery PV and picked up a Silver Bullet. Since then I've completely fallen in love with vaping, and have been smoke free for a month and a half. Been a great journey so far, and I have no intentions of slowing down.

It has become a very addicting hobby, I've always loved tinkering with things, as well as collecting. So here I am, with several PV's and many more on the "to buy" list. Couldn't be happier!

I've been having some chest discomfort lately and so i decided to give this e-cig a try. my ego-c is on the way.

You are on the start of your journey. Good job man, living smoke free is great. I just want to let you know something quick about the ego-c. I recently purchased one and didn't like the taste. It seemed like plastic and metal, if that makes any sense. If this happens to you dont give up. I bought a Vision 2 clearomizer and I now love it. They are only 5$ and last about a month or so I'm told. Just google it if your not familiar with them. Keep us informed and hope your chest feels better.

I was an accidental quitter.

I am a dorky white guy that can't dance, but I love soul music. A few years ago I was reading the story of a Hammond organ player from Stax records. He went from 3 packs a day to zero with vaping, that was the first I heard of vaping. Blu does get some credit for general awareness. I was sick of smoking, and like all addicts I could ignore or justify the cost. About 80% of the cost of cigs is tax, and the cost will never go down.

I decided to try it to smoke less and save money, found ECF and studied up. I got a decent big-batt 510, and after a few attempts, found juice I liked. After a few weeks, I realized that I could do this instead of smoking completely. It's been a year, a month and 25 days since my last cigarette, and more importantly, I don't want one!

Backups are vital. In my first few weeks I had two batteries die in succession. I held off for a day or so, but smoked again until new stuff came in.

My fine fellow snussers from another excellent forum introduced me to e cigs...as someone who had never really paid any attention to e cigs, the entire concept was totally foreign to me so I stopped by ecf and learned! I do not see myself ever giving nicotine up so I seek out healthier delivery methods. My first test ecig was an Imperial disposable hookah, blueberry. It was pretty good but died very quickly...anyway..from that short trial I knew ecigs were something I'd like to explore more.

My friend a, smoker, and myself, a non smoker, we're introduced to the Lavatube by a coworker of her hubby's. She did all the research and bought a LT and a Roughstack. I loved the gadgetry of it and the fact I could get 0 nic with all the flavors while it also filled my hand to mouth fixation (snacks anyone?). I ended up with her LT and then bought a Provari mini. I only wish I had found these before my Mom died of lung cancer.

Ordered my first ecig, a Joye 510 kit, to use when it would be more convenient then smoking. I'd read some articles about them and heard some news reports but dont remember there being anything special that made me finally decide to give one a try. When I placed the order I had no intention of completely quitting smoking. In the few days it took to arrive at my house I decided to "give a try" to quitting smoking completely. I figured I'd only ordered it to use when more convenient so IF I wasnt able to completely quit smoking I had nothing to loose by simply trying. Eight days after it arrived I smoked my last cigarette. :)

Today I most often use my APV's. My favorites being my Zenesis, Buzz Pro, Omega and Hogmod. My first Joye 510 is now 22 months old and the dang thing still works. Doesnt get used very often, but I now have a great curiousity as to exactly how long the thing will remain functional.

It was just curiosity. "e-cigarettes? What are they talking about?". Never wanted to quit. So I've bought GreenSmoke kit, not bad, but overpriced. That was it. Next day I just forgot to buy cigarettes. It was more than 1.5 years ago. For now I use e-pipe from epipemods with EMDCC cartomizers and a couple of spare e-Go batteries. Will never go back to cigarettes unless Government would want to have my tobacco taxes back and ban e-cigs.

My buddy got started by his buddy. He let me try a hit off his Volt, that had some Butterscotch in his carto. I barely tasted it, but it intrigued me, because he wasn't smoking any cigarettes at all.

I said what the hell, and bought a starter from Smokeless Image, and in hindsight, I should have put the money down for the kit with two batteries. But hey, you learn.

I have tried a bunch of eliquids, and I just got my first clearos. It is fun, and I have been reaping the benefits of vapeing for a few months now. Thanks for being here, ECF!
