    Well stated.

    "tobacco control groups".

Think about how messed up that is. They're not trying to control people. No sir. It's "tobacco" they're controlling.

Sir, it appears that tobacco is out of control!
Oh no! Tobacco has gotten loose again!? Why are you standing there?! Git em!

"____ control" is just another way of saying "We want to control YOU, but we'll blame it on ____."

The saddest types are those kind souls who enlist in such causes, but don't realize this. They neither do good nor profit.

Prohibition never cured any ills. It only shuffled profits about.

Juul Bought Out Medical Journal for $51K

"AJHB regularly charges researchers to publish, according to bylaws printed on its site. The issue's articles feature conflict of interest statements for each author. What is unusual is for a company -- or any entity -- to buy an entire issue's worth of articles and being granted publication at such a scale.

The Times reported that Elbert Glover, PhD, who was AJHB's executive editor at the time, has since retired, and that three AJHB editorial board members have resigned since the special issue was published."

        Last paragraph in the article...

"The FDA's deadline for deciding whether Juul's products offer enough of a health benefit in terms of being a safer alternative to cigarettes to stay on the market is Sept. 9. Numerous medical organizations, including the American Heart Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network, have asked the agency to reject the application, according to the Times."
This is a very misleading paragraph. Since when does PMTA approval have anything to do with health benefits over (or being safer than) cigarettes? Vape is supposed to be regulated as tobacco product, not a smoking cessation product or a safer product.

Yeah... If All one had to do was Show that an e-Cigarette/e-Liquid combo was "Safer" than smoking, NONE of this BS would be Happening.

But that Kind of Thinking/Logic boards on Public Health Advancement at the Population Level. Something the FDA Doesn't always consider to be a Priority.
