What is flavor enhancer?

Hey folks, question here! I have some Seedman's Cherry Flavor Enhancer, and I'm not exactly sure what it's intended for. It definitely has a cherry smell to it. So... what's this stuff do?

I don't know. It's just the label with the name, and the Heaven Gifts website at the bottom, but I couldn't find this on Heaven Gifts.
