What is wrong with these people

Hello...
I am a newbie here and I've been reading a lot of post on the new forum. What is wrong with some of these people who have a problem with the rules?

Did they walk before they crawled?

I mean Geez....you have to start somewhere, give it a rest already! So a new member has to post 5 post at first, like is that gonna really spoil your day!

ok, sorry for complaining about all those new people that have a problem with the rules on here. They are there for a reason, like it or not. Just tired of people whinning about something so stupid. Just get out there and post, who cares where or what forum it's in.

Suzi, I think some of them come to the forum to start trouble..or spam Or troll.... I tend to ignore those kinds of people altogether

Mostly, I think they just see it as an inconvenience. I can understand that. Unfortunately, the convenience of a few has to take a back seat to the enjoyment of the entire membership.

Spam sucks. I hate it, and I know you guys aren't too fond of it, either. So I think the 5 post rule will remain in effect so you guys are exposed to as little of it as possible.

It's funny, cause I didn't even know about the 5 post rule till I was already waaaay past it....I started a thread with a question, and that was that....5 posts was so easy and gone before I knew it....then sadly so were my 70 post max....but there are so many great places in this forum that you will never be without an answer.....I love it!!

I really appreciate ECF because of the rules & the care that Angus & the other moderators take to keep things civil. There are of course trolls & spammers, but not enough to ruin my enjoyment of this forum. Thanks to everyone who keeps this a fun, informative, and enjoyable place to hang around. It's only a minor inconvenience, and well worth it to keep out the spammers - I've seen too many forums destroyed by allowing just anyone to post. Spambots, trolls and general riff-raff - begone!

I was happy for the rule. It kept me from annoying people with dumb questions in the wrong forum. As a newbie, what could I possibly have to say in a modders forum that would be constructive anyway? You start where you belong and branch out from there. It isn't like you have to jump through hoops to post.
