Smoktech Magneto, iTaste MVP2, sigelei 8W. Fire away, fellow feline. :)

Smoktech Magneto, are you serious!! hey that's a pretty nifty mech mod, love the magnetic switch, Almost bought one but ended up getting the hcigar 2 tone Nemesis clone, mainly because it's kickable without showing any threads. But the Magneto and the Galileo were both in my shopping cart for a bit. Am on the notify list for the Nemesis magnetic button upgrade, so that I can have that option too.

Itaste MVP2, really? Did you get it to charge your cell phone? lol Actually considered buying one when I fist shopped for my first VV mod. The 5 volt and 11 watt limits is what made me choose a Provari instead. But hey, nice box mod, except for the internal battery, that's another thing I didn't like.

Segelei 8W, had to look that one up. Wasn't on my mech radar. Looks very similar to my hcigar clone. Is it kickable? I really am enjoying the convenience of the kick 2 on my mech. Can do the sub ohm builds and my high 1.2-1.4 ohm builds, without doing a thing. Have mine cranked to 15 watts. Delivers as good of vape as my Provari without having to adjust the voltage. And I can un kick it and vape my sub ohms at 27 watts if I choose, Will probably buy another mech, but it has to be kickable, thinking of another 2 tone clone but get the stainless on brass one. That way I could swap out the parts with my brass on stainless mech, and change up the looks of both depending on my mood.

People people people people people !!!!!!

So what have we learned here ?

Plenty of people having a few issues regarding airflow. Plenty of others say the airflow is fine.
So which is it ?
As someone that doesn't own one i'd like to know the answer.
Is there really something wrong with the display ?. I've read a couple of posts that say there is. Is that true ?
Can someone please post a comprehensive list of conpatibility issues that universaly affect the use of a provari. I mean are Protanks compatible or not ?. Or is it that a site like "fasttech" sell clones that don't work with one !.

It does sound like there are problems with the Provari, like compatibility issues.

So how about a list of tanks and what not that do work properly.

I used to use genuine Protanks all the time with my ProVari. Never, ever had an airflow issue.

Some of the knock offs don't have the air channels on the base, so they can restrict airflow.

Look closely at this pic and you can see the air channels in the base of the Protank...

So it is just the clones that don't work. Thank you.:)

My ProTank and IClear 30 (not clones) do fit on my ProVari. I've used both multiple times. I personally don't care for either tank due to lack of flavor and cooler vape bcc's give. It's a preference issue, not a ProVari issue. It has 510 threading. And nothing that carto tanks didn't fix...

ProVari is 510 threading. I also used a SmokTech Tumbler which is ego threading. Just like any other mod that may have 510, I simply bought a 510 to ego adapter and TADA..I was able to use the Tumbler, just fine, no gaps and works like a champ. So as far as what tanks can be used, I'd say all as long as you have the proper adapter if it isn't 510.

Not sure what u mean if something is wrong w/ProVari's display. My gorgeous blue LED works just fine. Maybe user error for others? Not sure.

Some of the previous posts mentioned the dispay wasn't up to scratch.

So there is a compatibility issue !.

What i'm hoping for is a definite yes or no to the compatibility question. And i don't think i'm going to get it.. This last paragraph isn't directed at you Angibe.

Ok..but u still have me confused w/the "compatibility issue" thing. YES you can use ProTanks on a ProVari. It is compatible. Both are 510 threads.

I own four and all displays are perfect (at least from my perspective). Protanks (and similar) have worked fine on all.

Like Edd said there are many people who use Protanks on their ProVari so it's hard to know exactly what incompatibility you're hoping to find out.
Maybe it would help if you tell us what you want to use on it.

Perhaps I haven't had enough coffee yet but if the OP spent $219 for a ProVari, I'm assuming his purchase was researched prior to purchase. Where is the "fun" in bashing something that time & money was spent on? Better yet, who cares what others think as long as you're happy?

Time for more coffee........

I love how you think!!!!!!!!!!!

What other pv/mod delivers the proven (measured) consistent power delivery that a ProVari offers? I've never heard of such a mythical creature.

I like to respond to falsehoods and ignorance.
Well I don't know if any other PV is as consistent as the ProVari for power delivery. Thanks to the Phil B review, I know that the ProVari is consistent but Phil didn't show a comparison with any other PV. It's great to know that the power delivery is consistent but does that translate to a superior vaping experience? Phil made no such claim.

Welp dracu, how's the vape on your new Provi? Have you drained a batt yet? Do you think it's living up to the info you read?

I find it interesting that you want to have some fun bashing it. Not my idea of fun, but oh welp! I'll give it a go.

What I don't like about the Provi... by KD.

It's got little dimples on it. Maybe I got a blem.

It scratches very easily. I really didn't give a whole lot of pressure when I touched it with a diamond engraving tool.

It's fragile. You drop it on the carpet and the darn tube just breaks in half.

It's got a lighted screen. Silly light keeps disturbing my need for complete darkness.

It's too light in weight. I swear, one big earthquake and this thing just won't stay standing upright.

If something goes wrong, I'd have to fix it myself because the manufacturer is not available all the time. (I know, cuz I called them at 3am and they didn't even pick up the phone.)

The button. Don't get me started on the button. I have to keep pushing that little thing all the time to get any vapor at all.

snort, giggle,,,,,,

you made my day, girlie :D
