I think the difference most people are commenting upon is taking vs. giving.

I wouldn't care if it was my own father or my own kid.... they ask first!!!
Or I give it freely, but it is my choice, not theirs. To me it is just common curtisy and respect. Anyone who knows me and comes over to my place is welcome to a beer or whatever is in the kitchen, just ask first and say, 'thank you'. Might be old fashion, but, then, I'm old fashion.

I rather like the "boiled egg", "cabbage", or "liver and onion" flavored e-liquid idea... it reminds me of when my kids said, "Here mom! We know you love jelly bellies, you gotta try these new ones!" and gave me those "vomit" and "booger" flavored ones

all kidding aside, i give whatever i have out freely, many times to members here - particularly if they are in need.

Manners are much like common sense in as much as both have become a thing of the past and are rarely used anymore.

8-o - errr... in a word? Not so much! (ok - three words) but I went along with it more than once, just because my reaction made them fall to the floor in utter fits of hysterical laughter.

WTH did they put in those things? I swear the "vomit" flavored ones made me gag!! (and of course, the stronger my disgusted reaction was the harder it made them laugh)

Sometimes they would fool me (I'm so truly trusting and gullible in general, seriously) and put a few of the Bertie Bott's grossest ones into a handful of my favorites, hand me a tiny little cup full of seemingly benign and delicious jelly bellies and say, "Here mom, let's have a snack together" - and wait for me to chew into a nasty one and gag.

ahhh... the things moms do for their kids

Thye- yeah! That about summed it up nicely, hahaha! that smiley is awesome

Here's my thoughts with liquids. I recently befriended a smoker and gave her my old janty kissbox...because I didn't use it anymore as I have the stick now...AND I know how to mod. She knew that the kissbox was a year old and the batteries were weaker and not lasting as long. I also gave her a brand new atomizer, I had a stash of 15 and was about to reorder anyways. I also gave her a 6mL dropper bottle filled with her choice of liquid diluted down by half with glycerine. When she ran out of liquid I refilled it again. She then ordered with me on my next order and got what she needed. Now, if I have liquids I do not like, i will offer them to her. If I have liquids I LOVE I will let her try them so she can make a decision as to whether she wants to order some, but would never let her just take them. But, she's an awesome friend and would never just take it. I'm sure she would either trade or pay for whatever (if I let her, but she's not that kind of friend that just takes what she wants if I don't offer it). If she ever came to my house and grabbed my TV without my permission or said she's taking a bottle...I'd be like "that'll be a hundred dollars NOW or ....!" LOL. But, as I said, she's awesome and would never do that. So, my thought is...tell him to buy his own and it's MY e-juice and I LOVE it...take something else! ROFL! I would never let somebody walk out of my house with my fav e-juice without doing something in return. Better yet, i wouldn't even let somebody have at my stash on their own whims anyways...my juice, my terms. Sneak in when he's sleeping and take it back! LOL!
