I think you're just on at the wrong time Bug. With all the different time zones, it's hard to know when others will be on. Seems like some time periods are really boomin', while others are relatively dead. I might get off for a bit myself....it's Saturday night so I can stay up late and get back on later. Next week reality sets in when I go back to work from this week's vacation....bleh! :(

Won't be on during the day then....and will spend all night catching up! :|

Oh Bug, it's not you, it's just the way forums work. It isn't like a chat room where we are all around at the same time and communicate in real time, we leave messages/posts and anyone at any time can add on to the end of a thread/discussion.

Have a look at other threads while you're around. If you click on the 'todays posts' link on the panel at the top you'll get a list of all the threads with posts you haven't read yet. Click on the little arrow in the thread title and it will take you to the unread posts.

That saying, you can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time? I added one to that. Then there's all the people you can't please no matter what.;)

Scrub: Your climate is great for growing some types of tobacco. I've been researching this. Need stuff? The Seedman.

Cheers Bob, I think I found the place. Looks like a lot to explore there. I stumbled across a UK place today called plantation house. They don't have as wide a range but presumably it's due to the climate. I'm thinking having a few varieties on the go may be a good starting point for blending flavours. Could be the start of yet another hobby...

Hmmmmm. Can I help? I have a lot of grass seed left over. The place is desolate and in need of grass. Add some green to the scenery.

Seriously, I've been trying to find a place to relocate since Obama won. No offense Obama voters. Didn't want McCain either.

Just what is the climate there. My friend said dry.

You've never seen TV ads for all the class action suits?
It doesn't take deep pockets, it takes a lawyer who sees a chance to make a buck.

The government says tobacco smoke is bad. Them banning a smokeless form of tobacco use that simulates smoking and thus satisfies the crave to smoke without proof that it's just as bad or worse opens them up to a class action suit.

Proof of damages? The government's own reports.
You can be rational and claim banned e-vapers didn't have to go back to cigs but precedence has already been set that people don't have the ability to make a choice with the tobacco lawsuits. If "big tobacco" was responsible for people's actions by offering cigarettes then the government would be just as responsible if they remove a viable alternative without just cause.
As long as e-cigs are even slightly less damaging they have no just cause to ban them while leaving cigarettes legal.
It's a tangled web the government has woven and they could easily get caught up in it.

We're going to sue the government? In a class-action suit? I can't wait. Sue on .... how low a court will boot that one? Just consider what you are asking to be allowed, all the unknowns, all the things about safety and efficacy that can't be proven. Nah, ruling on the side of protecting the consumer is the easy (and correct) judgment. Case dismissed.

We need to get our science in order so we have a real case to present to a regulatory agency, a presentation that might result in a positive compromise settlement. Asking to keep the present situation won't cut it.

E-Cig got the correct verdict: Rejection. Let's hope a company like Ruyan will do better next time.

That's the second time I've seen you incorrectly say that.
E-liquids got rejected as NRT not as an ingestible. If they were rejected as an ingestible imports would be banned and JC would be shut down. At least until they were marketed differently.

There's a guy in my county that gets away violating the junk car ordinance by putting political slogans on the cars. He sued city hall and won.

I can see the liquid being banned. I also don't see our sue happy legal system going quietly. It didn't go quietly for ephedra and the herbals won.
The Chicken Little act is just as bad as the Bunny act.
