I was wondering what happened to the response from the administration after the petition got enough signatures. Did I miss it? I remember the numerous threads saying we all had to sign or else we would lose our vaping rights. Has there been an official response?

So far only 78 of the 3000+ responses have been posted on the FDA website. There official response to someone asking about that was "they are still processing the remainding responses...

Thanks, but I was talking about the petition to whitehouse.gov that was supposed to guarantee a response from Obama and his administration if we got 25,000 signatures.

No response yet, which is obviously on purpose.
What the lack of response means I can only guess, but it surely is interesting.

I honestly believe they are scared of us.

The last petition, which only needed 5,000 signatures, closed on October 17, 2011 and replies started coming on December 15th, 2011.
So last time it took 7 weeks to start getting replies.

This time the petition closed on February 13th after getting nearly 30,000 signatures.
And still no response after more than 11 weeks.

April, May, June, etc really doesn't matter. They (FDA, anti-zealots, Big Pharm) will keep attacking the idea of vaping (much of which is not seen) until they find something they think will stick or not enough of us stand up.

Get as many people as possible to join and support CASAA and check their web site regularly is my suggestion.

DC, how do you find out what the response is? Will someone post it here on ECF? I wasn't even aware of ecigs until I joined ECF Sept of 2012.
