Thanks for the tip, that makes sense, might start doing that. I've got the 510 which produces really nice hits most the time, unless a dark beer ( for me anyway ), noticed that the past weekend. I've heard the jantystick is good, is it that much better than the 510? I'd be sure to get one if that's the case.

...if you drip those 2-3 drops and smoke without filter in the cart, then those 2-3 drops lasts approximately the size of a cigarette.
This is true. An analog lasted me around 10 drags. 3 drops on my 510 atomizer lasts around 10 drags. You actually get vapor for more than 10 drags, but you start tasting atomizer.

Well i have both of them - and allthough i do love the 510 then youre right it does kinda fade over a beer. The jantystick is .. hmm different. I havent been using my 510 so much after i got it. I guess the best way to describe the JS is that it produces more vapor ( alot more ) and deeper drags that are sort of "wider" in the taste department. You _do_ still get a nice throathit, but where the 510's throathit resembles that of a cigarette pretty close then the one on the JS is not so cigarette like. However, i have come to prefer the JS way of hitting.

I can definately recommend the JS, - i love the lenght of the batterys life on it, the taste on it, and so far i havent had any problems with it at all.

I actually believe janty is re-opening their website shop today or tomorrow and will have discounts up ( it says so when you try to access their site ) so it might be work checking out if you can get a cheap JS that way?

1# Consistant fear that I`m not stocked up enough with battery power for the day, night, out with friends, etc.

#2
Cartridges - you have to top them off regularly and you can only refill them a few times before they stop wicking liquid effectively:mad:.

I have started to just use an empty cart and drip.

Answering a thousand questions when someone stops me to ask what it is and then having those questions lead to a sale that I don't get a cut from :D

I sometimes feel like the ambassador to the PV.I have never had a person give me a negative response, though. I have even vaped in the cardiac cath pre-holding area and in post op area....with the blessing of the nurses and my Doctor! After a lengthy tutorial, that is. All were pleasant and glad I had found a way to quit the cigs.
It is a bother when I want to just run my errand or am in a hurry or am leasurely walking in the flea market or antique outlets that it is a pain. I have placed a large quantity order for those wanting the PV but by no means consider myself a seller.....for that very reason.

Heh, see that problem Janty actually solved ( i dont know if any other ecig manufacturer did ?? ) - with their portable case that can recharge a battery up to 5 times AND you have room for an extra atomizer + 2 filters prefilled.

I bought it specifically for the nights out in the town - so very handy :) but more manufacturers need to make this - in my eyes its an essential for anyone who used to be a smoker!

Other than that, i hear all of you.

The stocking up part is true, allthough a part of me does like my mad chemical lab by now..*fondles his bottles*

I was going to say the same thing- The Pcc solved pet peeve number 2
#3 SAVING MONEY? When will that happen, new PV out...more vape, new flavor, new new new.....I need it all and want it all and am getting daily packages....when will it stop?:confused:8-o

Most annoying thing.. Drinking a dark ale and not being able to taste or feel your E-cig, keep on trying and finally go for an analog and be just as disappointed !
After smoking E-cigs the analogs taste like CRAP! Refilling is becomming the new repetitive addiction for e-smokers especially with the 510 like I have with my friends.
Annoying - smoking the e-cig indoors yet feeling the urge to go outdoors to have a real cig. Ritual is lacking. Can they please make an E-cig that only works in pure darkness, then will be forced to go outside !!! lol, j/k then I'd miss it indoors.
Annoying... Smoking the E-cig and not knowing when the end of a cigarette is. Would love an LED burndown lights on the outside of the cig to look like a cig and notify me when it's done.

CART, I think I have found the solution to that one, for me anyway. I keep a separate PV in a cig case with a tiny 3ml bottle of flue cured and drip 3 drops of 36 mg, then I vape until it is done. Vape my everyday lower nic on a pretty constant basis and when I get that desire....go outside on the porch or in a smoking area and drip and vape away, when it is done, I am done. Works for me.

So, if I get you right, the JS ( janty stick ) produces great taste, great vapor, but might lack in the throat hit compared to the 510, but you get to love it for what it offers much more than the 510? I love the throat hit, so that's a must, but it sounds like I must try the JS for the reasons you stated. Maybe will get one soon. lol, of course I will.
Yes, the PCC is AWESOME, and a MUST, I'm surprised more have not come out yet, we really are in the stone ages of E-smoking. I saw one of the new models of PCC, where you just plug the whole pack into an outlet. electronic cigar(e-cigar,e-cig) EC-502A electronic cigar CN;ZHE products

Question is - is the E-cig any good?? We will see.

Annoying... a new atomizer that doesn't perform, goes in the pile of unperforming atomizers. Too bad we can't trade them back for a discount on a good ones.
I'm really not complaining because I love the E-cig, really don't care about the annoying, but in a perfect e-cig world, those issues would be resolved so it only seems important to identify all these issues. If I was out in a bar or where-ever, and lost my atomizer, tried a new one that is faulty, I'd be ...... and have to smoke an analog.

Yeah he has got me almsot sold on the Janty, I'm probably going to get one now after a few months with my 901. Its deff. on my wish list.

Annoying - It just isn't a casual thing yet. This is almost a synopsis of what others have said but seriously, unless your in "I'm thinking about quiting" mode, you don't always think about analogs. But vaping you do. You can't just puff on the things you have to scan websites, monitor the latest FDA vs. SE news, surf message boards, jam coffee straws down a cartridges throat, learn model numbers, surf the board some more, laugh at that one guys joke that no non-vapor would understand, buy more gear, cuss at your broken atomizer, surf the board again. Somehwere in here you use the stupid thing. Probably while surfing the board.

Now don't get me wrong, I love this community and this can all be a lot of fun. It really is kind of a hobby for most people...But everytime I see a noob come on who says "I've never smoked a cigarette in my life but I want to try vaping" and a veteran has to do the dirty job and say "Don't do it kid. Go back to your football message board and enjoy your life, ok?" Its a very somber moment for me, and I feel like maybe I'm not alone in that. At those moments I'm reminded its not all a game... Its a habit and an addiction we all chose to make at some part of our lives and now we are doing something that is still cost and time consuming, but we are trying to make the best of it by making it a hobby because it could very likely save our lives from our own stupid decisions. Most of the time I don't think like that...till I see us have to put a never-smoker down about this thing. Then it dawns on me...

Hope I'm not being a downer. :(

OOh wow... well... Your right, E-smoking is an addiction to nicotine like smoking cigarettes ( but better ), and like drinking alcohol, or coffee, It's an addiction that we are finding is not so bad for us as any other addiction is. In reality, it's up to the person to be responsible to the addiction and use it hopefully with responsibility. We are all in different shoes, some people coming from 2 packs of analogs a day, others only occasional smokers. If a person is going to use it more or less is only due to their own viewoint and situation in life, if not e-cigs, then regular analog cigs, or whatever else - they will do what they do.
What's most important is that E-cigs offer a more healthy way of dealing with nicotine addiction, and even more, it offers the ability to get off nicotine and still smoke ( if one wants to or is conditioned to like most of us)!
Newbees like that are already looking, so they will find. Maybe more will get addicted to nicotine due to the fact that this is more healthy, but in reality this takes on a whole nother meaning - e-cigs and nicotine is not cigarettes. It's now more like caffeine now perhaps. ??

cartvapr, I agree with you almost completely. It is a matter of perspective and if people who have never smoked anything are going to smoke I would rather they come here....But when is the last time you spent hours researching the best new hit you can get for caffine on a coffee forum?

Like I said I usually don't even think about this. Its like this; I'm a martial artist (although not as good of one sense I took on analogs) and I'm a taoist, and I speak Japanese, and I like psychology, art, and literature. I visit forums for all of those things and research outside of that. Same with the e-cigs. So sometimes it feels completely liek a hobby for me, just like everything else, (except taoism which is a religion) but when it comes to the situation I mentioned, it does dawn on me that I'm really here trying to correct a mistake. But your right not everyone sees it that way, and thats fine. Some people would still be smoking analogs but jsut generally like vapor better, regardless of health.

Annoying, having to explain the E-cig and take it apart for everyone - having someone grab it and start puffing on it as if they know what they are doing without instructions to work the manual 510 battery. I made up 500 business cards with this forum, and 3 suppliers that I've been handing out to EVERYONE. Time to make up some more.
