I'm a professional wrestler on the Indy circuit in southeast USA. I also work at a gym at the supplement counter during the week. 635629280452181615.jpg

I retired at 59 after 36 years with Xerox maintaining high speed color and monochrome electronic printing systems in computer rooms and commercial print shops. For the most part, it was a job that I never minded waking up for.

After retirement, I enrolled in the local technical college and graduated from their Cisco network engineer program, just in case I needed to go back to work. So far, I haven't hit a lick at a snake since I retired (well, I have killed a couple of snakes on the property that wanted to rise up and show fangs!).

Thread is a bit old, I hope you guys don't mind me bumping; perfect place to introduce myself outside of the new member section.

I'm an analyst at an insurance company. I help to improve processes and allocate resources. My days are spent looking at datasets and finding ways of improving the way we do things. Currently i'm working on finding a way to manage our vacation data so that we can allow as many people off as possible nationally, while still having enough people around to make sure we meet our targets.

Before this I used to adjudicate medical claims. It's a lot of research work: determining if the treatment plan is reasonable and indicated for the illness. People sometimes thought of us as reapers trying decline everything submitted. Not true. :nah:

I used to be Commander in Chief of the United Interstellar Galaxies , BUT that didn't pay very well so I've been a teacher for the past 20 years: public schools (8 years), private school (4 years) and currently at a university for the past 8 years. I teach English, Literature (specializing in 19th century American Lit.) and teacher education. Before that I was in the US Army for 8 years, then drove a school bus and did some other odd jobs until I finished my degree.

Special Education Department Chair at a high school. I used to have to cover up my breath with mints and toothpaste and wear too much cologne because I didn't want the kids to notice I smoked. They probably knew anyway, even though I never smoked at school, just occasionally at lunch. But after school, I smoked like a chimney.

Heck, I had a spot that one of the janitors showed me where I could go during my planning period that no one could sneak up on you. I had a can of body spray I'd use to "try" and cover the smell and I'd wash my hands. I'm sure you could still smell the smoke on my clothes, but nobody ever said a word. There were a few other teachers that knew about the spot too. It was funny when I headed to the spot one day and the new principal was already there puffing away:thumbs:

I love pulling up to a stop light and seeing a fellow vaper. I think it's interesting to see all the different kinds of people that vaping brings together. So I thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone on here does to make ends meet.

Financial Advisor at a bank, boring job if you ask me. lol. Vaping makes it alot cooler though :)

Let's see.... For my day job I'm a CNC programmer for Lasers, I also do Group Leadership and Project Organization. When I clock out, I'm a freelance website designer, coder, and travelling tech support. And then on the weekends I do a podcast with friends!

Oh, and I still ask myself what I want to be when I grow up. So take from that what you will ;)

@dabbott416 --------------When I see you were a cnc programmer for lasers-------I thought some of the mod builders

here on ECF use cnc programming to make their mods from a 3 d printer-----sounds interesting.......

Yeah, I've brought up my CNC programming on other sites and have been approached numerous times. Unfortunately, I don't work somewhere that I could toss something on the laser all willy nilly haha.

You mean you can't just walk into a 10 million dollar laser business---and say can I use your equipment to make a

small plastic box so that I can smoke my favorite juice and impress the kids with my clouds.......haahahahh

Yeah, ain't that weird! :p

That said, I DO work somewhere that I could cut something with cash in hand if I want. But we work with sheet metal, not plastic.

HOWEVER! We did work with a local company that went into the 3D Printer Business. We helped them design and fabricate their actual printer from the ground up. I have one in my office in piece as we speak, haha.

There is some talk on this ECF about CNC programming when it comes to making a mod shell and the related parts.

maybe something you already understand and could make your own mod style with.......just sayin......

I've actually quit vaping, but I'd always be open to helping someone else with their ideas! How about you, trucker? Got anything rattling around upstairs?

I am an artist, though I work with acrylic and colored pencils, what really pays the bills are custom hand painted and hand dyed Converse, Vans & Toms. I also do graphic design. Some semesters I work part time as an adjunct business professor (what I actually went to school for lol).
