Ive read bad stuff about them like they do bad business, dont stand behind thier products, dont replace faulty products, lie about the specs, etc... anybody here can substantiate any of that? I was gonna order something from them...

I bought some clearos from them, out of 5 clearos one was defective and leaked everything in it onto my battery within a day if i didnt vape on it. I just threw it out after fooling around with it didnt fix it but from what Im hearing they wouldnt have replaced it anyway.

Please advise.

Unfortunately, the quality of juice delivery devices from China (in particular clearomizers from my own experience) leave a lot to be desired. Pay attention to any vendor's return policy concerning these types of devices before you purchase from them, in particular clearomizers and cartomizers. Many will only replace DOA pieces, some not even that.

It wouldn't be Got Vapes' fault for selling a defective product, they are not the manufacturer, just the reseller or middleman. It's how this business and others works. They have no way of knowing the quality of the product they sell unless their customers tell them. How they react to selling defective products is up to them. I'm sure that they are generally reasonable and replace or exchange for a replacement after you return the defected unit. If not, word gets out and you don't stay in business long with a bad return policy after selling bad product.

I've ordered from Got Vapes before and not had a bad experience. I'm sure there's probably some customers who intentionally take advantage of the return policy for their own benefit to try to rip off the vendor, and if Got Vapes suspects that is the case they have every right to question that.

We all know how crappy most stuffs coming out of China are, it's no wonder most US venders have limited warranty. When I first started vaping back in August, the standard warranty period was 30 days (for device and batteries), but now? 14 days? 7 days? Warranty on cartomizers if DOA? Like I'll fill them all up to see if they'll work upon receiving them...

The bottom line? Just purchase what ever you need from them. If issues arises and they fail to resolve in a timely and professional matter, just send everything back and dispute the charges with your credit card company and move on.

I've had great experience with GV. They've spent time on the phone with me talking through products, have fair prices and ship really fast. I have not had any issues with any of the products that I have purchased from them, but based on my conversations with them - I fully believe that they would stand behind their products. That's my :2c:

Disclaimer: Please do not take the following as fact, reality or as a serious statement. Just a thought I had in passing.

As I'm reading the this thread, my brain starts working. It took forever for the Nova's to come back into stock because of the Chinese New Year. Now if I had to go back to work, after being off for sooooo long, I don't know if I would pay that much attention to how good a job I did making these plastic tubes. I might just be thinking about all the fun I had celebrating. Thinking about how nice it was not having to go to work doing the same thing day after day, after day.

Kind of like not buying a car that was made on a Monday here in the US. Don't know if that's a Michigan saying or if it is generally known. :)

Now for my serious post:

I only buy from GotVapes. Pretty much because that's who I started with when trying to find the genuine Vision Vivi Nova. I know that theirs is, so I continue with them. I'm pretty much afraid to try somewhere else and my purchases with hardware are minimal at this point in time anyway. I had one thing go wrong, sent an email and received store credit for the price of that item. I have seen the references you are speaking of and sometimes wonder if it just might be the tone that was taken to start out with. Not saying it was....just my take on the situations.

I have used GotVapes since September 2012 exclusively for all my Nova needs. Oh, October 2012, I should say. That's when I decided to try the Nova's.

Yeah. Send everything back with a tracking number if a company gives you grief. Chargebacks take a month and must be done within 3 months at my bank. Some places, for awhie anyway, would offer a testing cartos service for a small charge before sending. Thats how common the problem is. Goes with the territory. One reason RBA is popular. I say i dont have to buy the cheap stuff but if i choose to then i must deal with the results. Its cheap disposable stuffbut it gets you off cigarettes and saves your health! I find it balances out because sometimes some things last a lot longer than they should have.

GV is a good business in my limited experience. They honor the letter of their warranties and sometimes more. I hate the Vivi's I got from GV, but they delivered them as promised at the price agreed upon in the time frame promised, and I do not blame them for Vivis not suiting my vaping needs.

I cant say that Gotvapes is my only supplier, but i do place a lot of orders with them. I think the major problem is that people like to go on a rant about a cheap 3-4 $ item that didnt work right (it's not like they sit in a garage and make the stuff themselves). What you don't hear enough of is this.....I have placed 5 orders with them in the last 60 days...spent around $600....and everything worked perfectly...we all need to help spread good reviews so that our favorite suppliers are not flooded by just bad reviews. If I didnt take a chance on some companies I don't think I every would have switched to vaping. Gotvapes is one of the fastest shipping companies out there, on my last order I asked for a small request in the comments section and of coarse they gave it to me. I know that I will be a customer of theirs for a long time.

To many consumers in this country blame the wrong people....If your new Iphone doesn't work don't flip out on AT&T blame Apple...if you new Sony TV you bought doesn't turn on don't right bad reviews about Best Buy...you get the point. For some reason people want to blame the e cig vendor...start blaming China or buy from small mom and pop shops that hand craft everything right here in the good USA but for the love of god don't complain about the prices then....we are just never satisfied always need something to complain about

Sorry for the rant...I'm done!! Have a great day and keep vaping on:vapor:

Gotvapes is great! I had a shipment get stranded en route once (you could tell by the tracking that that it had shipped but got delayed by the PO in transit), and they offered to send me a replacement order free of charge and merely asked me to send the second order back to them if/when it arrived.

It didn't come to that, but it was a very nice offer, above and beyond IMHO. So I don't hesitate to use them or recommend them to others.

Some of the issues with GV was back when the smoketech telescope first came out GV sold them without the vent holes and said they would vent through the threading, after a 3rd party did testing (it is on youtube) GV still said it was safe and said the person didn't know what they where doing.

Shortly after that those same pv's where pulled from the market for being unsafe.

Now that could have happened to any vendor, the reason it caused such problems was them not wanting to believe the testing.

This isn't the only issue but it was a big one, but honestly I haven't heard of anything bad since that, and the one time I ordered from them everything was fine.
