Doubt that Waho but we can always wish. I'd really like to see him do something about the E Cig regulations. They're killing businesses and jobs. They're also killing smokers by making it appear as bad as smoking and making it less likely people will make the switch. We'll see. Apparently PA is seeing that their regulations are not having the desired effect. They're working on changing the 40% on everything e cig a tax by ml. They've been killing jobs and, I'm assuming, not collecting the revenue that they anticipated.

Hitt, I can't imagine why the customs charges could possibly be that high.

Pretty quiet in here lately. Everyone must be busy enjoying the actions of our new commander and chief. Seems to be pissing off the right people so he is doing his job. Love how all the Hollywood elite in their fancy clothes at their "pat themselves on the back" award shows are bashing Trump. Nothing like giving a guy a few weeks to dig in. But I guess when Obama does an immigration ban similar to Trumps it wasn't cause for rioting and demonstrations. But enough on that subject I'll just enjoy the huge increase in my 401K and a safer America. Good luck Canada.

Picked up some snow last night which seems a little strange given our most recent weather. I was getting used to seeing grass but I guess old man winter isn't through with us just yet. I guess I'll have to snow blow for the third time this year.

We got maybe an inch and half in my side of the state. Just enough to make my drive home down I75 a little harrowing. Actually justified putting the truck in 4WD for the 3rd time this year. Not enough to justify getting the snowblower out though.

Had some exceptionally good luck at work recently. My official job instruction sheet with the time study data had me over-cycled by 0.1 seconds. In reality I have plenty of free time (~15 seconds per cycle) until I get into my non-cyclical stuff (opening/closing containers, pulling new stock etc) which is averaged out over a longer period of time to come to that over-cycled number. So my 1st/3rd shift partners and I have been fighting to get work removed for the better part of a year since they sped the line up.

We finally won a few weeks ago. Sunday, Operations removed a scan/attach component which puts us officially at 9.3 seconds under-cycled. In reality that gives me about 30 seconds of idle time per cycle when I'm not doing non-cyclical work. Doesn't sound like much, but it's an eternity in assembly line time, and adds up to about an hour of extra idle time per 8 hour shift.

Best part of the entire process was my Committeeman arguing with the Superintendent and Process Engineers that I didn't have enough time to do my job properly, while I was standing around doing exactly nothing waiting for my next cycle.

Sounds like all of our winters are pretty much the same, much less snow than normal. I think my total accum. through January is around an inch. It's sunny and bright although a bit chilly today but not bad for a hop on the bike for a little shopping and a visit to my favorite bartender.

We're seeing the sun for the first time in a long time here in Michigan. It is dearly welcome as we haven't seen much of it this winter. Kind of gets depressing going to work and coming home in the dark, so I was glad to see the light off to the east this morning on my way in. I'm looking forward to warmer days and lower heating bills. ;) My to do list this year is substantial but I hope rewarding. I took a vow a decluttering this year, removing all unwanted and unused crap from my house and garage. It'll probably take a large dumpster and a bit of arm wrestling with the wife but it needs to be done. 12 years in this house has pushed our storage capacity to it's limit. Time to start clearing out the old to make room for the new.

They're these little moths, maybe 3/8" long that get into things like flour. The get in via food packages, sometimes dog food. They lay practically invisible larvae and are a PIA to get rid of. I bought canisters to put anything they might get into but they still keep coming. I can't imagine what they are living on. I threw away everything they could have been in when they first were discovered and, as I said, all the flour type products are now in sealed containers. They seemed to show back up the last couple weeks and most are juvenile as they're very tiny so some larvae have hatched.

The problem right now is wiping out the young ones. They're not attracted to the traps like the adults. I just try to kill them by hand when I see one, but they can be very illusive. I only bought a new set because I want to make sure they're wiped out this go around.

The Patriots have definitely taken advantage of coaching mistakes the last two SBs they've been in. Seattle not going with beast mode when they were at the one and throwing an interception to give the Pats the win and the play calling with a bit over 3 minutes to go when Atlanta was inside the 25. Two running plays eats clock and runs the Pats out of time outs. The almost sure thing FG puts them up by 11 with three to go. In addition, if they get a first down, the game is history. Bad, bad coaching decisions.

I was checking my email this morning and saw that Northerner sent me a coupon code for 33% off so I went to their site and ran a sample order. They are almost a dollar higher per can than snuscentral on general mint to begin with which is about all I would order from them. I hate that their selection is so limited. It would be nice to be able to order and only pay about half the shipping that I would from overseas. I guess if I placed a big order of mint that it might be worth it but I'm stocked up well enough that I don't feel really motivated to order when my price per can comes out near 3.50 a can.

I don't even bother to look at Northerner these days. Since they dropped all the decent snus, it's a waste of time, plus like you pointed out, their prices a way too high. I'm still plowing through my last order and looking pretty good for at least another couple months. Well stocked in General since their last $1.99 a can local sale, but I'm down to my last can of Crafted Whisky from Conny Andersson. Possibly the best beer drinking snus I have ever tasted. Pop one of those with a nice pint and it's a little slice of heaven.

I have never heard of that one rebel.

I got the first flat tire ever in my jeep on the way home. I was lucky enough to make it to a gas station and got the spare put on. I checked it when I got home and there was a hole dead center in the middle between two treads. I put a plug in it and got it back on.

It is a slime tire plug kit that I have. My daughter had a tire leaking a few months ago so she and I bought the kit and plugged hers. It has held up fine. A tire shop would have done the same repair. I could have waited and took it to the shop today. It's a company car so they would have paid for it but I already had the wheel off so I figured why not just fix it. I'm not too far off from needing a new set of tires. Sales have been a little slow at work so I'm trying to make them last and save the company some money.

Yeah, I figured it would work fine. I went through a rash of flat tires a while back (always on the car I wasn't driving). The last one was $27 to plug. Then I picked up the kit and haven't had a flat on a car since (snow blower rule). However, I have had two punctures on yard equipment tires and both have held up well. I was sure with all the errant nails from the exterior redo that I'd pick up more, and probably will when mowing season hits. However, I keep my head down in the drive and constantly am finding them and discarding. It almost seems like they grow out of the macadam. Yet, so far, the auto tires are fine and thank god, also the bikes. Plugging them is highly discouraged for obvious reasons.
