Not sure what it was. But between the Oden's and coffee (and I don't drink the weak sauce stuff), my body was in full fledged revolt. I've been using General for the past two nights and my bod is much happier (no coffee last night either). I'll ease my way back into the Oden's (I'm almost out of the Jakobsson's).
I don’t have a lot of jakobsson either. I’m experimenting with flavoring the Kapten I bought and did get two rolls of the moose mint before snusme cut the cord.
Something I've noticed. Between the three mint choices I now have (Oden's, Jakobsson's, and General), General still is champ as far as taste is concerned. Figures. The one I like the best is the one that will break the bank if I buy it here.
It seems like that’s always the case. The moose major mint is pretty close in taste but the portions are fatter. Hopefully some day I can order more of it. I wish snusport would stock it. I emailed them about it but never got a response.
The postnord order from snus24 that came USPS did not need a signature, they just left it at the door, they did not even ring the doorbell. It was marked (in VERY small print) smokeless tobacco on the label. It took a week and a half for delivery.
Don't know. The snus I want is out of stock, so I didn't order any. Had they had some I wanted I would have tried to order it. Only thing is they only ship postnord, which is not duty paid like UPS is, so you run the risk of having duty added or the post office not delivering it because it is tobacco. I am through ordering anything myself until this gets worked out. I have enough to last a couple of years. I may down the road order some more nicotine pouches to use as filler to make my snus last longer, but for now I am set on them also.
I have the same attitude. I can go pick up the six rolls of odens today at an ups pickup location. This was my fourth order in about two months so I’ve spent quite a bit. At this point I’m just going to use what I have and hope shipping opens back up at some point.
I got the odens and have a portion in now. I like that the tobacco is mild but barely taste the mint. It’s not sweet like general but is useable. I may try flavoring some to add to the mint flavor but it’s not bad and I’m sure I can use it in rotation. I bought six rolls kind of in a panic not knowing if snusport would continue shipping to us. I don’t regret it but it’s not like the general, jakobsson, or moose mint.
Really? Did you get the double mint? I get a huge blast of mint when I pop it in.
I really didn’t with that first portion. I’ll try more tomorrow. By the way, my snusport order arrived in three days from when it was shipped so flew through customs. It took them a few days to process the order but once shipped it was here fast. Hopefully that’s a sign of good things to come.
I tried another portion of the odens tonight and the mint was stronger but when I took it out the end was open and had to rinse my mouth. There’s no sweetness to it that I can tell. Just a straight mint with no real flavor. It’s not bad just not what I was expecting. Just out of curiosity I checked my heart rate on my apple watch and it was 72 so no real effect from the higher nic level.
Yeah, there's definitely no sweetness to it, which is kind of a bummer. Go through a can of the Oden's and then pop a General Mint. You'll get a sweetness overload!

This worked out very good. I had to add some more water as the Super Dry pouches, well they were dry. But I ended up with 20 more raspberry pouches, so 30 total from a 1/2 can. At some point, I'll do the same thing with the other 1/2 can in the freezer. Another way to extend this discontinued Snus, which I still have 3 1/2 cans of in the freezer.
Everytime I open another can I look at how many I have left of the Mint and think of what it's goint to cost when I run out.

I'm even worse than you as there is nowhere close to get General Mint snus (or any real snus, just the American crap). I still hope the shipping stoppage will be worked out in the future, but I don't think it will. I'm working trying to figure out what to flavor the plain pouches from snusroom with (which may also go away), but it is taking a LOT of time.

Despite the red list, things are still making it through. My six rolls of odens made it in three days. I read this morning that RFK is making cutbacks which includes the FDA. Perhaps this will lighten up the customs enforcement on snus.
I’ve flavored some of the Kapten snus that I didn’t care for after panic buying a bunch. It’s now usable but not my favorite. I’m going to continue experimenting with flavors on it. I have four rolls of extra strong and two rolls of regular. The odens is going to get some flavor added too once I find the right combination.
