Well Snus24.com does not show out of stock/Discontinued so I placed an order with them, who I have used in the past. I checked ALL the other sites I have used and ALL were out of stock/Discontinued.

My biggest problem is the General Mint was one of the few that does not have Bergomont (sp) which I hate. When anyone finds a new one to replace it (that tastes close) Please let us know.

FYI reason for 63 cans is freight goes up at 64 cans, most bang for the buck on shipping.

An Insight into the Two Discontinued Products

General is a well-known, historic snus brand and it will surprise many to hear that some of its products are being discontinued. The Mint and Wintergreen snus are both high-quality and highly favored mint snus, occupying a slot in many snusers rotations. Both have a distinct, bold mint character with a well-balanced, rich tobacco flavor.

General Mint has more of a balanced mint flavor, with notes of peppermint running throughout. It is paired with the signature tobacco character and is packaged in white portions for a long-lasting release with a clean, crisp mouthfeel. Moreover, with a nicotine content of 8 mg/g, they are a perfect all-day product.

General Wintergreen is another white portion, providing a more contemporary mouthfeel and experience. Its flavor profile has a much sweeter mint taste and compliments the rich tobacco flavor, providing a fresh and mellow experience. Similarly, each pouch contains 8 mg/g so for those with a lower nicotine tolerance or wanting a product for all-day use, it is ideal.

However, now these products aren’t available to buy outside of the US, what other options will fill this gap left in many rotations?

I think I found the cause. Swedish Match was purchased by Phillip Morris. :censored:
Something to note in my post above

However, now these products "aren’t available to buy outside of the US"

They are not dropping it from what I see, just limiting sales to the US only. But since we place orders with overseas company's, we can't get it from them now. And if we buy it from someone IN the US we will now have to pay the tobacco sin tax on it. Years ago @Uncle told me in south Florida it was over $8 a can (+ Florida sales tax) for General Mint, I'm sure it is higher now. Plus I have nothing anywhere close to me to purchase it anyway. Looking on General's website map of stores, the closest is over an hours drive. With the order I have coming (+ what I have in the freezer) I'll be good for 22-24 months on the mint, so before then I'll need to find a replacement for it.

Guys, what's the deal with General Mint becoming unavailable? I had to do a deep search to find a company over there that still has it. I got an email from Snus Direct saying they're not carrying it any more.

I have an order of 100 cans coming from Snusport. They were the only online outfit that I could find that still has it.
This is the first I’ve heard of it. I guess I should put in a good size order while I can. I’ve been using general mint since they first released it. Honestly though I like Jakobsson strong mint just as well and currently use more of it than the general.

Northerner shows in stock, but a little pricey.
At that price I don’t know if I’d keep buying it.

    This is through SnusPort.
Did you go ahead and order from them? I’ve never heard of that site before.

They were slow in processing the order, and UPS isn't showing package pickup yet. But I am waiting for a 100 can order. I'm down to my last 4 cans. Hopefully I'll have the order in hand before I run out.

Well seems like my order is stuck in the Louisville, KY customs Black Hole. First scan Friday @11:26am, and 11 more scans since. Seems every time I get an order go through there, it is delayed, the longest was almost 2 weeks many years ago (that time I ordered another order and got it before the first order). Well it is just for stock, nothing new coming, so it will get here when it gets here.
